Quality Assurance
To ensure our customers receive only high performance products we adopt quality control manual and procedures that are drawn out as per ISO-9001 quality certification. Quality standards are monitored by our experienced quality assurance managers.
The shop engineer supervise the daily Q.C. activities in the shop. His duties include
•Inspection of incoming raw material and preparation of the relevant reports.
•In process Inspection that includes visual inspection and measurement.
•Conducting mechanical testing including stamping at laboratory.
•Finished component inspection/testing that includes non descriptive testing: U.T. of metals, hydro-static testing, RT etc.
•Preparation of check sheets
Apart from these we also follow certain standards and procedures, that are:
•Product specifications
•Material specifications
•Welding procedure
•Piping procedures
•Special procedures (i.e. painting)

Our Quality Assurance Managers also review the final product for acceptability. This includes preparation of documents like:-
•Hydro test certificates
•Calibration certificates
•Dynamic balancing certificates
•Material test certificates
•Check sheets
•Laboratory reports.
Infrastructure
We are well-equipped with latest manufacturing facilities that enable us to satisfactorily meet the requirements of the customers. We have installed precision inspection and measuring equipment
and also have varied testing set up at manufacturing unit.
Our manufacturing plant has work space for more than 40,000 sq.ft. located close to the national capital New Delhi. Further we also possess in house permanent test beds for testing the blowers and pumps with shop test motors as per the requirements of National/International test codes.

The highly qualified engineering personnel of Swam are supported by comprehensive in house computer facilities on which a computer aided design, developing and management system is operated.
We also have excellent material control system that includes controls receipts and work flow.
The material control activities expedites materials, control the flow of production through the shop, check the incoming materials for conformance to the purchased standards and specification, marks and stages material for production. These activities receives and controls such documents as:
• Material test certificates
• Dimension data sheet
• Installation instructions
• Vendor Q.C. Report.

Our Manpower
We boast of possessing a well-organized and structured organization with varied departments headed by experienced and qualified professionals. Each project is handled with extra precision by our experienced engineering team who efficiently manage all aspects of the assigned project including design and drawing approval, manufacturing, testing, client inspection, supply, erection supervision and commissioning services. They also provide the required engineering documents to the P&ID level and details of execution plan including ordering and sourcing of raw materials bought outs and coordinating with the purchaser.
Our engineering team has professionals specialized in mechanical, electrical & instrumentation to provide their expertise in their respective fields.

They provide detailed system design about skid equipment that includes overall design of instrumentation system and arrangements of manufacturing and supervision control, data acquisition with the help of latest computer control and data acquisition system.

Technical service
To offer excellent comprehensive customer service we are also maintaining technical services department. Our technical experts consists of team of specialists who conduct the final shop performance and functional tests of the completed, skid mounted blowers, pumps and other related services. This department works under the direction of the G.M. Operations that provides final factory check out and also start-up assistance in the field.
