Our range of column chromatography has found its place in many laboratories for preparative purposes as well as for reaction control in organic syntheses. It is highly recommended due to following factors:

Column chromatography is separated into two categories, depending on how the solvent flows down the column.
• If the solvent is allowed to flow down the column by gravity, or percolation, it is called gravity column chromatography.
• If the solvent is forced down the column by positive air pressure, it is called flash chromatography, a "state of the art" method currently used in organic chemistry research laboratories.

Adsorbent particle size affects how the solvent flows through the column. Smaller particles with higher mesh values are used for flash chromatography; larger particles with lower mesh value are used for gravity chromatography. For example, 70–230 silica gels are used for gravity columns and 230–400 mesh for flash columns.

We are manufacturing and offering thin layer chromatography adsorbent that is used for preparing of silica gel glass plates (SiO2) as a TLC adsorbent. Our adsorbents are extremely good when plates are prepared by chemist by their own hands.Silica Gel G & GF are the most widely used silica gel adsorbent for making TLC plates. No organic substances are added to these products, thus making them compatible with sulfuric acid charring visualization.

They are compatible with all organic solvents, however, they are not recommended for use in systems containing greater than 20% water because of the solubility of the gypsum binder in aqueous solutions.

The "G" stands for Gypsum and indicates that calcium sulfate hemihydrate (CaSO4·1/2H2O), a refined form of gypsum, has been included in the adsorption formulation. Gypsum functions as a binder, improving the cohesion of the adsorbent particles and increasing the adhesion of the layer to the glass substrate.

The "F" indicates the presence of a short wave UV indicator that is fluorescent at 254 nm.

We are providing alumina balls that are manufactured from aluminium Oxide which is resistant to thermal stock and abrasion. Further, it does not shrink, swell, soften nor disintegrate when immersed in water.

Surface area are in the range 345-415 . Due to its higher capacity for water than Silica Gel at elevated temperatures it is mainly used as a desiccant for warm gases including air.

Applications :

• Purification of gases and liquids (removal of metallic traces, TBC and HF compounds).
• Drying of organic liquids such as LPG, propylene, butene, steam cracked liquids, cyclohexane, gasoline, chloro and fluoro hydrocarbons, aromatic solvents.
