NBR/PVC blend is used in the rubber parts requiring excellent Ozone and Weather resistance. In the automobile industry, many manufacturers have been specifying Polychloroprene rubber (CR)  to get ozone and oil resistance in the auto parts.

NBR-PVC Blend Rubber Polymers

NPR50 Blend Rubber

Product Information:


NPR50 is a 50:50 ratio fluxed blend of NBR/PVC using medium NBR and pretreated PVC resin. Special polymeric Plasticizers and Additives are incorporated to improve hot air ageing and flex crack. These special polymeric plasticizers also help to keep the product flexibility longer in service life. It blends easily with Nitrile Rubber to increase the Nitrile Rubber percentage ratio if required in the compound in order to make a tailor-made ratio of NBR/PVC by the user.


Processing Characteristics:


NPR50 is processed on conventional open mixing mills and internal mixers. The user can easily change the Nitrile ratio in the blend since NPR50 blends easily with the Nitrile Rubber on conventional Rubber mixing machines. For best results it is recommended that the mixing machines be kept hot during compounding stage for a quicker and a better homogenous compound. It is designed to withstand higher compounding temperatures.

Curing:

Normal Sulphur and Peroxide curing systems. Since NBR/PVC is slow curing, the accelerator dosage should be appropriately increased.


Applications:

It is a highly recommended grade for products requiring very high ozone and oil resistance. It is also recommended for non-black/coloured compounds. Extruded profiles and products will give smooth, sharp and glossy finish. It is recommended for LPG tubing and hoses, fuel tubes and other moulded products.

NPR50 Blend Rubber




NPR55 Blend Rubber

Product Information:

NPR55 is a 50:50 ratio polymer blend of High Acrylonitrile Butadiene rubber with a special grade of Poly Vinyl Chloride resin. It is an excellent replacement for ultra high nitrile and polyacrylates for very high oil, fuel, sour gas, ozone resistant products.


Processing Characteristics:

The blend is processed on conventional rubber processing machines. It is recommended that the machines are pre- warmed and kept hot for an excellent homogeneous compound mix.

Curing:

Normal curing systems used for NBR like Sulphur, Peroxide, Sulphurless cure, etc.


Applications:

Lead-Free Petrol resistant products, Fuel 'C' and Fuel 'D' resistant applications in kerbside Hoses, Tubing, Fuel Hoses, Coloured and Black Automobile Applications for SAE-I specification products, fuel Tubings and products for Petrol immersion application.

NPR55 Blend Rubber


NPR7060 Blend Rubber

NPR7060 is non-staining, oil, abrasion, weather and low temperature flex resistant polymer using Low Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber and a special grade of Poly Vinyl Chloride Resin.

 

Processing Characteristics:

Very easily Processable on Conventional Rubber processing/compounding machines. Very good filler and plasticizers absorption makes compounding cycle quick, cast saving and labour saving. Warm mixing mill compounding is recommended for best results. Can easily withstand elevated compounding temperatures. Recommended plasticizers are DOP, DOS, DBP, TCR, CPO and other Aromatic Paraffinic based softeners are not recommended.

NPR7060 Blend Rubber


NPR73 Blend Rubber

Product Information:

NPR73 is a non-staining NBR/PVC blend in the ratio of 70:30 Acrylonitrile Butadiene, Polyvinyl Chloride, Dioctyl Pthalate. Other additives are blended to obtain very high oil, ozone, abrasion resistant polymer. It is specially designed to prevent scorching even at higher compounding temperatures.

 

Processing Characteristics:


Can be easily processed on open mixing mill, kneader, intermix or Banbury. Compounding at elevated temperatures will not scorch the product. All polar plasticizers are compatible.

Curing:

Conventional curing systems of Sulphur, Peroxide and Sulphur donor are recommended.

Replaces most Polychloroprene (Neoprene) based products. It can also be used in hoses, hose covers, LPG tubing, antistatic shoe soles and flooring, textile cots and aprons, hospital sheeting etc.

NPR73 Blend Rubber




NPR70 Blend Rubber

Product Information:

NPR70 is the most popular and widely used grade of fluxed NBR/PVC in the polymer ratio of 70-30. It is a non-staining, oil, ozone, abrasion, weather and flex resistant polymer using medium Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber with Poly Vinyl Chloride Resin.

Processing Characteristics:

Easily processible on conventional Rubber processing/compounding machines. Very good filler and plasticizers absorption makes compounding cycle quick, cost saving and labour saving. Warm mixing mill compounding is recommended for best results. Can easily withstand elevated compounding temperatures. NPR70 Blend Rubber




NPR71B Blend Rubber

Product Information:

NPR71B is a 70:30 fluxed blend of medium Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber with Poly Vinyl Chloride Resin. This grade is particularly made to withstand low temperatures. Compounds of NPR71B have easily cleared low temperature flexibility of -40°C. It is non-staining with high resistance to oil, ozone, weather and flex.

Processing Characteristics:

Very easily processible on open mixing mills as well as internal mixers. Extremely good filler and plasticizer absorption, thus saving cost, labour and time. NPR71B can withstand elevated compounding temperatures. DOA, DOS, etc are the recommended plasticizers and Paraffinic based softeners are not recommended.
