Formaldehyde is used in the manufacture of a number of thermosetting
resins and moulding powers like melamine formaldehyde, phenol for-
maldehyde, urea formaldehyde resorcinol formaldehyde etc.it is also
used in the manufacture of various organic chemicals of great industrial
value like pentaerythritol, hexamethylenetetramine etc.

Synochem Organics Pvt. Ltd. (SOPL) is incorporated on 07.08.2008 under the Companies Act, 1956 to undertake organic chemical manufacturing activity i.e. manufacturing of Formaldehyde (HCHO). The main promoter behind the venture is Shri M.P Gupta, a prosperous and socially well known industrialist entrepreneur.Mr.Gupta is already running other chemical units in the name & style of Bharat Rasayan Ltd., Bharat Insecticides Ltd., B.R. Agrotech Ltd. The setting up of the new unit is actually an advancement of the existing activity of Shri M.P. Gupta on a bigger scale in a new unit and on a new technological platform. The production capacity of this formaldehyde plant is 90 TPD. (90 tonnes per day) [30,000 annual].
