It is a division of Ambalal Sarabhai Enterprises Limited (ASE Ltd.); which came into existence after amalgamation of various independent Companies/ Units within Sarabhai group in 1978. Shri Kartikeya Sarabhai is Chairman of ASE Ltd. The group turnover is Rs. 2000 million in 2000-01.
Systronics, the flag ship of the electronics division of ASE Ltd., was started in 1965 by Dr. K. Ramanathan, under direct guidance of late Professor Vikram A. Sarabhai, former Chairman of Atomic Energy Commission Govt. Of India. From a humble beginning in a shed, Systronics today is the leading manufacturer of Analytical, T & M and CRO in the private sector; and in fact, it is number ONE in the Analytical Instruments field in India.
Ever since its inception in 1965, this Division has been totally committed to scientific and technological advancement and this commitment is reflected in its customer-oriented philosophy. After initial production, test batches are placed under actual working conditions and their performance evaluated in the light of stringent quality control standards and performance specifications.
The R & D facility is manned by highly qualified Electronics, Mechanical & Optics Engineers and it is recognized by Department of Science & Technology. We are institutional member of IETE, New Delhi. SYSTRONICS' strengths are top class in-house R & D, stringent Quality Assurance and powerful Sales/ After Sales Service Network.
To serve the needs of the customer, Systronics has eleven main branches and more than 100 Dealers/Distributors throughout the country. |
