TAG Offshore Limited (old name TAG Sealogistics limited) was incorporated in 2003 with the vision to be the leading provider of marine support service to Port/Terminal, Offshore Exploration & Production and Marine Construction activities.

The Company, after its formation, acquired the offshore business of Essar Shipping Limited which is one of the most experienced and well-known Shipping Companies in India. Under the said acquisition, the Company purchased three Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels owned by Essar Shipping. After the said acquisition the entire manpower including the floating and shore staff operating and managing the offshore shipping business of Essar Shipping Limited joined the Company.

To excel in sea logistics and satisfy customers by operating high quality vessels manned by experienced manpower and constantly delivering value to all stakeholders through safe and environment-friendly operations.

Mr. Shamik Apparao (Managing Director)
Shamik Apparao is a graduate from the City University in London where he was awarded a Master of Science in Shipping, Trade and Finance. He started TAG Offshore Limited in April 01, 2003 after 2 years training in Essar Shipping. Prior to this, he completed his undergraduate in Business Administration from the European Business School in London.

Mr. Sarangan Govindrajan (Executive Director)

Mr. Sarangan Govindrajan (C.E., F.I.Mar.E., M.I.E.)

Experience in Shipping Industry spans over 4 decades with all round ability of Engineering, management and Finance. Had served as Vice President, Business Development and Ship Sale & Purchase, with Essar Shipping for 12 years. Formative years and subsequent service as Senior Fleet Manager in The Great Eastern Shipping Company for over 24 years, favored gaining vast experience in Ship Management, Acquisition and Sale of Ships, New Construction of Ships. Had served as Chairman Technical Committee of Indian Register of Shipping for two terms of two years. Currently also is the Member of Indian Technical Committee of NKK,Japan , for the past 10 years and Member South East Asia Technical Committee of LLOYDS Register of Shipping for the past Eight Years.

Mr. Vinod Pendke(Financial Advisor)

Mr. Pendke graduated from Institute of Science, Nagpur and joined State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer in 1978. In 1981, he was selected by the bank for a prestigious 3 years assignment at SBI London Office.

He has headed the Shipping , Aviation and Term Export Credit Division of the Overseas branch of the Bank. During this tenure, he has dealt with almost all the major shipping companies like Shipping Corporation of India, Great Eastern Shipping Essar Shipping , Mercator Lines Ltd etc. He has helped the companies on raising capital, raising External commercial Borrowings and Restructuring of Debt etc. He regularly interacted with regulatory authorities like DG Shipping , Mercantile Marine Dept. and industry organizations Indian National Ship Owners Association. He has also addressed various shipping seminars including “World Shipping Conference” held at Chennai in 2005.

Mr. G.C.Sontakke (Head, Technical)

Mr. G.C.Sontakke a Marine Engineer from Naval Dockyard Apprentice School. He has 20 years of experience, out of which he has sailed for 16 years. After sailing as Chief Engineer, he moved ashore. His last assignment as Supdt . Technical was with Univan Ship Management company, Hongkong. He is now heading the tech. dept. of the company for last more than a year.

Mr. D.P. Subudhi (Sr. Manager, safety and quality)
Mr. D.P. Subudhi has 20 years of experience out of which he has sailed for 15 years. He has been a chief engineer and is with offshore industry for last five years during which he has proved himself an asset for the company. Currently he is looking after safety and quality of TOL vessels. We take a great pride to introduce him as a highly competent individual willing to contribute to the success of the company.
