Established in Mumbai, in the year 1993, a small company Tanay Industries, started manufacturing Auto components made of Metals, Sheets, Plastic which were utilized in the Assembly in Automobile Industries. Handled by it s C.E.O. Mr. Sushi Kumar Gupta, it started on a low scale with a strength of 15 young employees & a turnover of merely 25 lakhs; but with a clear vision to be a Quality maker and with an ambition to make a big industry.
At the onset, Tanay Industries O.E. registered with Bajaj Auto Ltd. To reach to the destination the Institution initially got certified by I.S.O. 9001-2000 by DNV to achieve & to avail of a quality mark. Due to its wide array of in house facilities and Professional approach, Product performance, Competitive pricing, Prompt delivery and Faithful service, it has honoured by BAL as a Quality Vendor.

Quality Assurance
before commencing the production, a quality system is followed.
Quality Control Processing Chart (QCPC) along with the Process Operation Sheet and potential failure mode effective analysis (PFMEA) is prepared.
Thereafter the first piece Approval charts of all the items is prepared.
For critical parameters X BAR R Chart is followed and CPK Values are maintained as per standard.
Inward inspection reports and in process inspection reports are also maintained.
Finally every lot is thoroughly checked & the P.D.I. Report along with the required test certificate of Raw Material / Plating / Heat Treatment is attached.
All the Gauges / Instruments are periodically calibrated, considering frequency of quantity to be checked. All records are maintained.
Raw Material is tested at different government approved labs at decided frequency and the T.C. is cross Checked with the supplier T. C.
100 % inspection is done for the required critical dimensions –parameters.
Batch System-History card is made for keeping a track record & to control the inventory at various stages.
In-process sectionwise- unitwise PPM level is maintained to monitor the rejection.
