Vertical Load Support

Tarang Vertical Load Support is used to support the heavy test objects by expanding the working platform. The VLS is made of Mg alloy featuring light weight and optimum level of rigidity and strength permitting the shaker to operate at maximum force rating capacity over wide frequency range.

It is mounted directly on shaker platform which has a Guidance system supported by pneumatic arrangement. Stainless Steel inserts are embedded on the VLS as per user defined pattern.

The Tampa series is available for tarang’s air cooled electrodynamic vibration shaker systems providing power outputs upto 88 kva. Tampa series has been designed so you can start up, monitor the output power and interlocks. Its additional task is to shut down the power amplifier from the same operator pc workstation that hosts the vibration controller.

The Tampa is solid state digitally modulated power amplifier that uses pm technique. The amplifier converts the main input power to a variable frequency adjustable power for delivery to inductive loads which drives the shaker with extremely high conversion efficiency (>90%). Power amplifiers are equipped with fans to provide cooling and designed for continuous duty to drive the shaker with other attached instruments.

The electrodynamic vibration shaker system and power amplifier safety interlocks are monitored and indicated on the front panel. All the interlock signals are properly matched through buffer network to prevent false triggering. The power amplifier front panel has features providing gain control and selecting the output current value. All the signals are analyzed in an intelligent micro controller and once the fault is diagnosed the system gets ready for operation.

`TARANG' Combo Base Horizontal Slip Table eliminates the necessity for supporting test specimens by complicated flexures and permits simplified translational motion for testing the components in both horizontal axes X & Y, without disturbing the orientation of tests objects.

It is compactly constructed using a precision granite surface, internal oil reservoir, filter, regulator, a Mg slip plate and the Mg drive bar. They are available in both square and rectangular shape of custom size and can be used with all armatures. Stainless steel inserts are provided on the Mg table in customer defined pattern.

Driven by driver bar and T & V type low-pressure hydraulic/hydrostatic bearings, which controls crosstalk and high overturning moments, the slip table provides increased pitch, roll & yaw restraint even for tall and heavy loads.

Slip Table is constructed in "Combo Base" configuration to ensure perfect alignment when the Shaker is rotated 90 Degree for conducting the tests in horizontal axes. The magnesium table is easily movable along the horizontal axis in which the force is applied with minimum friction loss.

Tarang also manufactures Hydrostatic bearing slip table attachment when very heavy payloads with high CG as well as off centre loads have to be tested on your Electrodynamic Vibration Shaker System

Head Expander

Tarang Head Expander is an attachment that increases your loading options of your vibration shaker system that enables it to mount larger or multiple test objects. These come in three standard shapes - circular, rectangular and square. Head expander provides a larger surface mounting area for an occasional test object that is bigger in size than the limiting dimensions specified for your shaker system.

The head expander attachment is made of Mg alloy to ensure its light weight, optimum level of rigidity and strength that does not affect the capacity of your vibration shaker system much. We provide Stainless Steel inserts in any customer selected pattern.

In addition to these Tarang Kinetics also offers custom made fixtures that increase the loading options for testing multiple test objects on your shaker system. The L and T shape fixtures are used to provide a mounting surface perpendicular to the direction of the test apparatus. This eliminates the need of high cost slip table attachment where the test object can be mounted on the L or T fixture.

Vibration Controller

Tarang Digital Vibration controller is used to simulate actual field vibration conditions at test laboratory in a controlled manner so as to reproduce the same vibration atmosphere but ensuring safety of device/object under test. Sinusoidal, shock, random and complex sinu-random vibration environment can be simulated using different software methodologies on the Digital Vibration Controller providing sinusoidal sweep, shock and random vibration test as per JS 55555, MIL, IS, IEC and other international standards.

The function of CONTROLLER is to generate reference signal, measure feedback signal, equalize both the signals and generate ultimately the corrected servo signal to drive the shaker at desired vibration level. Signal clipping is provided internally to protect the shaker or object under severe vibration level, causing damage.

Tarang Controllers are available in different PC based operation (Win 9X/NT/2000/XP) & Interface to Host PC - ISA/PCI/USB/LAN in the Frequency Range 0.05 to 5000 Hz

The 04/08/16 Channel Controller will meet the specification with respect to sine(swept sine, resonance search, track and dwell(RSTD),sine oscillator),Random (Random on Random(ROR), Sine on Random (SOR), Sine and Random on Random (SROR), and SHOCK (Classical shock, Shock Response spectrum (SRS), Time Transient history (TTH) control), Long Time History(LTH)
