• Do not allow moisture or water to seep in due to reduction in permeability

• Fibrillated (mesh) structure ensures better binding and anchoring of aggregates in concrete and mortar

• Distributes localised stresses and increases fatigue resistance

• Reduces unequal bleeding so that solids in concrete do not settle unevenly and enhances cement hydration in fresh concrete thereby increasing tensile and flexural strength

• Improves fire resistant characteristics in concrete thereby reducing risk of spalling in concrete structures, shrinkage, cracks and settlement cracks

• Provides impact and abrasion resistance

Plast fibre is used at typical dosages of

• 125 gms per 50kg of cement

• 910 gms per cubic meter of cement for concrete and mortar applications

The sizes available are 6, 12, 15, 20, 24, 30, 40, 60 and 120. The preferred size for canal lining works is 20 mm.
