In this day and age "Time" is of essence, "Food, Clothes & Shelter" an absolute must-have for every human being & "Money" the tool to acquire the same. He wants to proffesionalise the field of Laundry & Dry – Cleaning and offer the convenience of free pick-up and delivery because he values the customers "Time", wants to fulfill their daily requirement of fresh clean clothes & offer all this at very reasonable prices, thereby giving the customer value for their "Money" and offering much more.
Born of parents both of who run two separate successful businesses each, Amit Lall dabbled in various fields starting from being a restaurateur to flirting with the acting bug next, to a stint in modeling and then tracking a successful path in the field of media & advertising, sales & marketing, which finally took him to the post of Director in one of India’s leading Garment Accessories’ Suppliers Company. Laundry & Dry – Cleaning being one of the oldest professions really intrigued him, and he wanted to make a difference in this field. And that was what gave birth to “The Dhobi Express” on April 11, 2004. |
