Heat Exchanger

We produce hydraulic oil coolers/shell & tube/plate heat exchanger which are packed floating head type in general and are suitable for figment of the return line of a hydraulic oil system. The hydraulic oil coolers designed by us are used extensively in power packs, presses, dredgers, plastics injection equipment and a number of other hydraulic systems.

Some of the characteristics of Hydraulic Oil Coolers are:

  • Suitable for heat transfer fluids, lubricating, transformer & quenching oils
  • All Teccon coolers are designed as per IS, DIN or TEMA standards
  • The normal design pressure of these coolers is 10 kg. / cm 2G and are tested for a hydrostatic pressure of 15kg. /cm2G
  • These coolers can be designed for high pressure circuit as high as 50-75 kg. / cm 2G

The PHE consists of a package with linked up embossed plates with passage openings. Every second plate is staggered by 180°, creating a flow gap at any given time. All plates are provided with tied up or glued gaskets, which completely seal the various flow gaps from the outside and separate the media involved in heat exchange.
The plate package is mounted in a rack and is pressed between fixed plate and pressure plate by means of clamping bolts.Warm and cold  media are normally led through the PHE in one-pass or multi-pass counter flows in order to guarantee a maximum heat transfer.
Connections of media involved in heat exchange are on the fixed plate, in case of multi-pass flow also on the pressure plate (see basic scheme below).
