About UsTechnocraft Group was established in the year 1972 by IIT Bombay graduates Mr. S. K. Saraf and Mr. S. M. Saraf. The Group aimed at manufacturing of high precision and sophisticated drum closure products. With a modest beginning of manufacturing drum closures, our group was slowly moved towards pipe & scaffolding manufacturing to take advantage of higher margin offered by this segment.
Technocraft is a government recognized 3 star export house, is the second largest producer of drum closures in the world, with a production of 25 million sets of drum closures annually. The company has received ISO-9002 Certificate for quality standards, thereby assuring its customers drum closures of international standards. 95% of the company''''s production is exported to quality conscious markets such as EUROPE, JAPAN and U.S.A.
The product line of the group expands beyond drum closures into welded steel tubes, scaffolding''''s and 100% cotton yarns. With the help of modern semi-automated mill, the group manufactures tubes conforming to international standards like BS1387 and BS1139 (British Standards). The steel tube division of the group is approved by the Indian Standard Institute.
The cotton yarn division use the most modern equipment to manufacture its product assuring world-class quality to its customer. Technocraft is certified 100% export oriented unit (100% EOU) for its cotton yarn division. |

- 2003 - Started Garmenting through - Danube Fashions Limited
- 2004 - Awarded 3 Star Export House Certificate
- 2004 - Achieved the Export Targets set by Government of India in the yarn Division under the Target Plus Scheme.
- 2005 - Setup a Subsidiary in Germany
- 2005 - Launched “Haute Chilli” Brand in India through its Subsidiary
- 2005 - Achieved the export targets set by Government of India in our Yarn Division 2nd year straight
- 2006 - Setup a Subsidiary in Australia
- 2006 – Filed the DRHP with SEBI
- 2007 – Got listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange.
Our ManagementTechnocraft Group is promoted, managed and has grown under dynamic leadership and guidance of Mr. S. K. SARAF (Managing Director-commercial) and Mr. S. M. SARAF (Managing Director - Engineering & Manufacturing Operations), both graduates from Indian Institute of Technology, having 29 years of industrial and commercial experience. The Technocraft family consists of more than 3000 skilled workmen, technicians and technologists all working towards the common goal of giving the best quality products to its customers, all over the world. The day-to-day management of the company is looked after by a group of highly qualified professionals.

InfrastructureThe Group has manufacturing facilities at Murbad- District Thane and Wagle Estate- Thane: having state- of- art technology and spread over about 50,000 sq. mtrs. These are located 90 kms. from Mumbai and 50 kms. from Port that make the operation easy and efficient. The Registered Office of the group is located at the prestigious Nariman Point, Mumbai, spreading over an area of 3000 sq.ft. The Corporate Office is located at Andheri (TECHNOCRAFT HOUSE) with fully computerized working and the latest communication and office equipments, enabling quick and efficient working.
Our manufacturing facilitates are spread across 60 acres.
*Our Yarn Division is located among sprawling greenery and a total land area of 40 acres.
Tube Division is spread across 13 Acres.
Drum Closure Division is spread across 7 acres.
We are currently employ directly and indirectly 3000 workers, technicians and staff.
Captive power plant of 4.2 MW in our yarn division.
