Film Evaporators

Falling Film or Rising Film Evaporators are shell and tube construction calandria evaporators. These evaporators give excellent performance for simple concentration applications with cost effectiveness due to their simple construction. Steam economy is achieved by using them in multiple effect design. These are ideal for volume reduction. When used for pre-concentration, these evaporators reduce the size of the Thin Film Evaporator or Dryer. [sketch 12 and 13]

Used for Concentration of dilute solutions by evaporation of water or organic solvents, Solvent recovery from contaminated feed, concentration of herbal extracts, Concentration of Oleoresin and natural products under vacuum, as Reboiler to distillation columns, Concentration of fruit juices and pulps, for Milk concentration.

Forced circulation Evaporators outperforms the other tubular evaporators when handled for material with fouling nature and having high % solids. We use our exclusively designed Axial flow pumps with these evaporators for better performance with less power requirement. This allows higher concentration of slurries making evaporation more economical.

Used for pre-concentration of scale prone liquids before drying, Evaporative crystallization, Waste water concentration for volume reduction, Concentration of organic & inorganic salt solutions.

The mechanically Agitated Thin Film Evaporators not only give excellent performance with viscous or heat sensitive products but also offers certain unique features which the conventional evaporators cannot match. This evaporator have not only improved the processes but also made many processes feasible. It is ideally suited for concentration, evaporation, distillation, de-odourisation, degassing, stripping and reaction of viscous, heat sensitive or fouling products under vacuum of 1 tor with processing time of a few seconds in continuous, single pass operation. We offer different rotor options to suit specific application needs.

Used for recovery of products from high boilers and residues, distillation and stripping of impurities from product, polymer concentration, recovery of glycols, lubricating oil, fatty acids, concentration of rubber chemicals, amines, food and herbal products.
