Description: TII developed T-5101 High voltage murray loop employing solid state technologies to give very accurate % distance to the following faults. 1. Earth Fault 2. High resistive cable faults (shunts) (constant leakage). TII developed T-5101 High voltage murray loop employing solid state technologies to give very accurate % distance to the following faults. T-5101 is a portable, battery-powered instrument. The above mentioned faults which can not be detected by pulse refection method. T-5101 operates on the principle of Murray loop & can be used with bride supply D.C. voltage up to 5K.V. T-5101 measure the distance of the fault from the point of operation to the point of fault of the total length of cable, via calibrated dial and indicates in%. T-5101 is not suitable for pre-location of low/high resistance flash over or intermittent faults. T-510 Refectometer with T-1020 or T-1028 or T-1032 surge generators is suitable for high resistance or intermittent faults. Note: For flashing faults Murray Loop is not suitable.
