Advance Communication Training Systems |
|
The increasing use and abundance of personal communications devices, and the continuous demand for qualified technicians and engineers in the telecommunications industry, accentuate the need for communications training systems that optimize teaching time and effort. Training systems should enhance student learning and maximize the number of hands-on experiences in the area being studied, be it analog or digital communications, microwave, fiber optics, telephony, antenna, or radar technologies.
Technosys Systems telecommunications training systems meet these criteria and allow a wide-spectrum of training programs to be implemented, from introductory demonstration to the most-advanced levels of telecommunications technologies. Computer-assisted training using innovative software programs, virtual analog and digital communications training systems, and virtual instrumentation further enhance and optimize student learning. The end result is faster and better education for students in this modern and fast-growing area of technology.

FEKO - Comprehensive Electromagnetic Simulation Software FEKO is a comprehensive electromagnetic simulation software tool, based on state of the art computational electromagnetics (CEM) techniques. It enables users to solve a wide range of electromagnetic problems. The multiple solution techniques available within FEKO make it applicable to a wide range of problems for a large array of industries. Typical applications include: - Antennas: analysis of horns, microstrip patches, wire antennas, reflector antennas, conformal antennas, broadband antennas, arrays
- Antenna placement: analysis of antenna radiation patterns, radiation hazard zones, etc. with an antenna placed on a large structure, e.g. ship, aircraft, armoured car
- EMC: analysis of diverse EMC problems including shielding effectiveness of an enclosure, cable coupling analysis in complex environments, e.g. wiring in a car, radiation hazard analysis
- Bio-electromagnetics: analysis of homogeneous or non-homogeneous bodies, SAR extraction
- RF components: analysis of waveguide structures, e.g. filter, slotted antennas, directional couplers
- 3D EM circuits: analysis of microstrip filters, couplers, inductors, etc.
- Radomes: analysis of multiple dielectric layers in a large structure
- Scattering problems: RCS analysis of large and small structures
µWAVE WIZARD | the EM CAD software yields unparalleled performance in exact synthesis, analysis and optimization of passive waveguide components and networks. | | Plug-ins for the field computation and for the calculation and optimization of the radiation pattern are available. | µWave Wizard is a fast, user-friendly mode-matching analysis, synthesis and optimization (EM) CAD tool for passive waveguide components and antennas. The efficient (EM) CAD software allows the accurate design of a comprehensive class of simple as well complex designs.
Antenna Magus
Antenna Magus is the first design tool of its kind. Its huge searchable collection of antennas can be explored to find, design and export models of designated antennas to FEKO.
Antenna Magus does not aim to replace electromagnetic analysis tools like FEKO. It reduces the time to find and assess feasible antenna topologies for any given application, providing reliable initial designs and validated simulation models.
Mentor Graphics - Electromagnetic (EM) Design & Simulation Software
Mentor’s full-wave 3D electromagnetic (EM) analysis functionality addresses the needs of the industry’s most advanced designers of high-performance electronic products. The IE3D™ EM design and verification analysis technology addresses the advanced simulation needs of engineers designing Antennas, MMICs, RFID, IC Packaging, and PCBs.

FIBER OPTIC COMMUNICATION BENCH TOP LABORATORY KIT WITH WDM INTRODUCTION Light Runner is a highly advanced fiber optic training kit which is designed and developed to bridge the gap between academia and industry. It comprises of a robust hardware kit backed with an indigenous monitoring and control software. Light Runner is targeted but not restricted to find its use in engineering and science laboratories as well as industry oriented fiber optic training centers for conducting a broad range of experiments, researches and trainings in optical technology. Light Runner can also be used in R&D labs for fiber optic communication development and has expansion capability to add modules to carry out additional experiments. It is a unique stand alone system for fiber optic communication labs that does not require any external instruments/devices such as oscilloscope, function generator, power meter etc. and is completely automated & controlled by the proprietary software. Light Runner has been received with enthusiasm from industry experts as a multi-dimensional innovative product and has been making news since its inception. Light runner has bagged multiple prestigious awards worldwide in recognition of its breakthrough spectrum of functionalities in fiber optics testing and measurement domain. The most recent being the winner title at ‘Innovators Competition’ from a pool of 1000 other technological inventions. The tile was awarded under the Innovation Growth Programme 2011 jointly organized by the Lockheed Martin Corporations (USA) and Department of Science & Technology-Government of India. Other Internationally acclaimed recognitions include but are not limited to Aegis Graham Bell Award in 2010 and finalist in the power of ideas initiative in 2009. Light Runner is already filed for patent protection in India and PCT countries.UNIQUE FEATURES OF LIGHT RUNNER: - Light Runner is an open platform based integrated modular system, making it unique from its competitors. It offers a broad range of experiments that include but are not limited to latest cutting edge technologies such as EDFA, WDM, OTDR, BER, Eye Pattern, OADM and Dispersion.
- Unlike the plastic fiber typically used in the training kits available in the market, Light Runner uses original telecom grade silica fiber and components that help in providing real industry based training. Also, in experiments like WDM, Light Runner offers 4 channel module whereas other competing kits only provide 2 channel modules.
- Ships with advanced and user friendly proprietary software for optical control and monitoring. The software also provides theoretical concepts associated with each experiment for ready reference. Students can refer to the theory and simultaneously conduct experiment from the same screen.
- The proprietary software features real time instrument control such as control over modulation frequency, duty cycle and intensity of lasers.
- It’s an ideal laboratory solution for conducting examinations and practical as it allows experiment results of individual students to be saved for later references by the tutor.
- Unlike other vendors who offer separate kit for each experiment, Light Runner offers value for money to its clients as it offers much broader spectrum of experiments (offers 16 experiments expandable to 40+ experiments by just one kit) and hence costs substantially less than the competing kits in the market.
- With Light Runner you would not incur any additional expenses on peripheral equipments, as this stand-alone fiber optic bench top laboratory kit does not require any external systems such as CRO, pulse generator, power meter, fiber spool, etc.
