The Market Opportunity
TenXc Wireless addresses the market for enhanced wireless access systems utilizing advanced antenna beam shaping to optimize the wireless link between base stations and wireless devices. Industry analyst, In-Stat, reports that the initial market segment on which TenXc is focused, mobile base station (GSM, UMTS, CDMA) site infrastructure, had an installed base of 1.8 million in 2004 and will approximately double by 2009. Equipment spending on emerging alternative broadband access networks such as Wi-Fi / mesh networks or WiMAX is also projected to increase substantially from current levels.
