| ProductsGas Actuated Thermometers![]() We are engaged in manufacturing a wide range of gas actuated thermometers. Compression Force Transducers![]() Compression force measurement up to 320kN These hydraulic load cells measure and indicate forces directly for a reasonable price. The whole unit (load cell and measuring device) works on the hydraulic principle. Maximum piston stroke is 0.5mm. In accordance with the surface area of the piston, the force acting on it is transferred to the hydraulic fluid and from there via the connecting pipe to the measuring instrument. The straightforward realtionship between the pressure, force and piston surface area enables the scale of the measuring instrument to be graduated in a variety of units, e.g. kN, kg, t, m³ or litres.
For precise conversion of force into pressure the force mustact vertically and centred on the piston which must not be subject to lateral forces. The load cells are unsuited, or suited only to a limited extent, to the measurement of impact or acceleration. Provided that the frequency is not too high, oscillating forces can also be measured with hydraulic load cells. In such case a measuring unit with a rather large working range is advisable in the interests of prolonging service life.
Analogue AmplifierAnalogue Strain Gauge Measurement Amplifier This analogue measurement amplifier specially developed for very fast and accurate force measurement is used to adjust the output signal of strain gauge force transducers to make it suitable for information devices or a connected control system. The analogue output of +/-10V enables the signal to be processed directly. The amplifier can be detached from a printed circuit board by means of the integrated plug strip. An optional adapter board for assembly on top hat rails as specified in DIN EN 50022 is available for fitting in a control cubicle. Any strain gauge force transducers which can be driven with a dc voltage can be attached. The measuring range and any available overload that can be used (tare) can be compared on site by means of DIP switches. In general a finely trimmed signal is not necessary for the SPS control system. An option however is for the adaptor board delivered to be supplied with pots for fine tuning. Interference signals can be reduced by means of the input low pass filter.
Analogue AmplifierIt is a highly reliable device which can link an analogue strain-gauge transducer to a wide range of analogue equipment. The EZE10 produces a current loop output which can be easily converted to a voltage output by adding a resistor. Switches are provided to give a wide range of filter, off-set and gain settings to suit many industrial applications, and the compact configuration provides for versatility of mounting. Strain-gauge load cell or force transducer, minimum load impedance 320R. A four-wire ratiometric measurement technique is employed. Provision is made for connection of sense wires for 6-wire circuits, these connections being commoned to the load cell excitation terminals on the EZE10 pcb.
Analogue AmplifierAnalogue amplifiers are used to adapt the output signal of DMS force transducers to digital displays or downstreamed controlling units. The analog outputs of 0..10 Volt or 0..20 mA allow the direct signal proceeding in SPS controlling units. For mounting in switchboards a version with clips is available for mounting on top hat rails. acc to DIN EN 50 022. All DMS force transducers are connectable , that can be runned by DC voltage. The measuring range and eventually exsisting initial load (tara) can be adjusted on site. Interfering signals can be reduced by an input low pass filtering. The amplifier offers a logical output for safety reasons. This contact is normally closed, if an error occurs (short-circuit at supply voltage-, sensor or signal cable of force transducer / max. output signal exceeded/problems with supply voltage) the output opens.
Analogue AmplifierAnalogue amplifier with parallel output 0/4 … 20 mA and 0…10 V Analogue measuring amplifiers condition the output signal of strain gauge force transducers to displays or a connected control system. The parallel outputs of 0..10 Volt and 0(4)..20mA enable the signal processing to be done directly in the SPS control system.
Analogue Amplifier UniversalAmplifiers are electronic devices designed in order to adapt strain gauge sensors to indicators or to control systems. Model EZE09 is part of the connecting cable of the force transmitter. Practical shape of housing allows easy fastening with simple straps. Housing is designed for harsh environment according to protection type IP 67. The amplifier can be build in the large transmitters directly. Alternatively to the version described above diecasting housing for the strain gauge amplifier can be delivered. For mounting in control boxes with standard terminal strips according to DIN EN 50 022 a special amplifier is available. All strain gauge force transducers powered by a DC voltage can be connected. Span and deadload are adjustable at the yard. For checking the evaluation device a control signal can be generated. Trouble signals can be eleminated partly using an input low-pass.
Analogue AmplifiersStrain gauge measurement amplifierfor clamp rail assembly Measurement amplifiers are used to make the output signal of strain gauge force transducers suitable for an attached control system. This design is available for terminal rail fitting in a control cubicle as specified in EN 50 022. All strain gauge force transducers which can be operated with a dc voltage can be attached. The measuring range and any overload that may be available (tare) can be set on site. To monitor the assessment unit a check signal can be generated. Interference signals can be reduced by means of the input low pass filter. The supply voltage of between 10 and 30 Volts guarantees a direct connection to an SPS control system, since these generally have 24 Volt supply systems. The analogue outputs of 0..10 Volt or 0(4) 20 mA enable the signal to be processed directly by the SPS control system.
Compression Force TransducersCompression force transducer, compact version for compression force measurement up to 2.500kN These hydraulic load cells are used in combination with a pressure measuring device to measure forces. The pressure measuring devices employed can be pressure gauges, pressure sensors or other pressure measuring devices fitted with contacts. In accordance with the surface area of the piston, the force acting on it is transferred to the hydraulic fluid and from there via the connecting tube to the measuring instrument. The straightforward relationship between the pressure, force and piston surface area enables the scale of the measuring instrument to be graduated in a variety of units, e.g. kN, kg, t, m3 or litres. Maximum piston stroke is 0.8mm. Precise conversion of force to pressure requires the force to act vertically and centred on the piston which must not be exposed to any other forces of thrust or traction. The ball and socket or round form load plate facilitate the required centred action of the force and are accordingly part of the ordinary supply schedule. The connection line between the load cell and pressure measuring device is a rigid tube for direct assembly and a flexible tube for other kinds of assembly. The position of the connection stub can be adapted to particular installation requirements.
Compression Load CellLoad cell with electrical output for tension and compression force measurement The range of applications for this load cell covers both weighing technology and countless industrial applications where high accuracy, simple installation with a large contact surface and an inexpensive price play a decisive role. In such conditions, this load cell provides ideal conditions in the measuring ranges from 0...2 kg to 0...5000 kg, and can be used for tension and compression force measurements. These load cells are splash water protected and function reliably even under difficult service conditions.
Detachable DisplayDetachable display is the ideal solution for providing a local display of the force measurement and transferring the signal at the same time. Because it is programmable and easy to install, the detachable display is easy to retrofit to power sensors that are already in use. The scale of the display can be directly adjusted onsite without the need for additional equipment. With an input signal of 4 to 20 mA, the power supply comes directly from the current loop, meaning that no auxiliary power is required. The units (0.1N, t and kg), the decimal point, the display range, the zero point and the switching points can be adjusted using the control buttons. The seven-millimetre high, red LED display iseasy to read. Two versions are available so that the display can be adapted to the relevant installation situation: Connected to bottom or rear of measuring transducer.
Digital AmplifierDigital Strain Gauge Measurement Amplifier Digtal measurement amplifiers are used to make the output signal of strain gauge force transducers suitable for an attached control system. The series RS-422/485 interface enables direct signal processing in the SPS control system and the operation of up to 32 measurement amplifiers in one bus. Because of its very high accuracy and speed this digital measurement amplifier is equally suitable for weighing applications, for fast force measurements and for force monitoring on machines. ASCII commands can be used for the free programming of the measuring amplifier. With a communications programme as, for example, Terminal, communication can be easily and quickly established with a PC and the device parameterized. Windows software with an oscilloscope function is an option that can be supplied. The assembly can be done by means of pillar plugs on a printed circuit board or in the control cubicle on top hat rail (as specified in DIN EN 50 022), by the optional adaptor board with Phoenix terminal screws. Any strain gauge force transducers which can be driven with a dc voltage can be attached. Interference signals can be reduced by an extensive range of filter settings.
Digital AmplifierDigital strain gauge amplifier with LED display The digital measuring amplifier with LED display is suitable for connecting up to 4 strain gauge load cells with 350W. As standard, it comes equipped with 3 relay outputs, one analogue output, one serial RS-422/485 interface and 3 logic inputs. The measured values and status of the inputs and outputs is shown on the 5-digit digital display. Force Transducers For Chucking Force MeasurementCompression force transducer for measurement of tension forces in lathe chucks Chucking power measuring devices made by tecsis are hydraulic force measuring devices that display the measurements in analogue or digital form in combination with measuring and display equipment. The force measuring devices, which are prepared for static chucking force measurement at self-centring chucks, are extremely accurate. Chucking force is recorded in a simple, low-cost way in selfcentring chucks using these hydraulic force measuring devices, and directly displayed. European standard EN 1550 prescribes the use of static chucking force measuring devices in order to make the chucking and chip removal processes safe. All users musten sure that their chucking equipment is operated in accordance with the stipulations of EN 15505 at all times. This includes regular checking of the chucking force using static chucking force measuring devices. The hydraulic force measuring devices are exclusively intended for measuring static chucking force at rotating chucks. The chucking force measurements must be compared with the target values specified in the operating instructions for the respective chuck. The chucking force loss of chucks at high speeds is determined from the relevant chuck operating instructions.
Force Transducers For Liquid Level MeasurementForce transducer for liquid level measurements; with electrical output Forces (weights) can be easily and cheaply measured with this hydraulic/electric force transducer and made available directly by means of an analogue output signal for further processing. The force measuring unit works on the hydraulic principle. The force applied to the piston is converted depending on the piston surface into a hydraulic pressure and transmitted to the integrated measuring cell. The analogue signal produced is 4 ... 20mA. The analogue signal can be processed with a digital display with a microprocessor and displayed in different units e.g. N, kN, kg, or t. The piston stroke is 0.5mm maximum. The piston of the force transducer is so designed that if fits the face of the force transmitting piston up to within ± 3°. Accurate force measurement requires the force to be applied centrally and at right angles to the piston, which must be free from side forces. This force transducer is unsuitable or only suitable in certain circumstance for the measurement of impact energy or acceleration. Increasing or decreasing forces provided that the frequency is not too high can also be measured with hydraulic force transducers. Bearing in mind the life of the force measuring unit a force measuring unit with a somewhat larger working range should be chosen.
Force Transducers With Small DimensionsCompression force transducer with small dimensions, for measurements in gaps These hydraulic load cells measure and indicate forces directly for a reasonable price. The whole unit (load cell and measuring device) works on the hydraulic principle. The straightforward relationship between the pressure, force and piston surface area enables the scale of the measuring instrument to be graduated in a variety of units, e.g. kN, kg, t, m³ or litres. The use of stainless steel, the welded cover of the DMS measuring elements and the used of a glass leadthrough for the cable connection allow the equipment to be used without problems, even under unfavourable environmental conditions. The integrated radii of the load transducers allow the equipment to be installed using simple force introduction components.
Limit Switch ElectronicsLimit switch mV/V This measurement amplifier with relay outputs works as a uniform voltage amplifier for strain gauge measuring bridges. Three connected comparators each with a comparison potentiometer enable the setting of three different switching thresholds, which correspond to a certain loading of the connected strain gauge force transducers. Each comparator output controls a relay and a check LED. In the switched-off condition or when the current supply is interrupted the three relay contacts on the output terminals 3 to 8 are open. In the switched-on condition, and below the respective switching threshold set, the output relays are in the working condition and the relay contacts are closed. A check LED is connected in parallel with the relay coil. This lights up as long as the output contact is closed. The measurement amplifier is designed to be installed in a control cubicle and can be put on a carrying rail in a top hat rail housing made of extruded sections.

Another key switch turns on the 100% calibration control made of the sensor, thus the E3906100 can simply be incalibrated to a sensor and the calibration can be checked at any time.
Ring Force TransducersRing force transducer, Heavy Duty for forces from 4 kN up to 2.500 kN The load cell in ring form is used for the meaurement on shafts and spindles to which a load cell of standard shape cannot be attached. The distinctive feature of this load cell by comparison with the others is the ring shape of the load cell piston and diaphragm. The force acts on a thrust roller bearing and is transmitted without rotation to the ring shaped piston. In accordance with the surface area of the piston the force acting on it is transferred to the hydraulic fluid and from there via the connecting tube to the measuring instrument. The straight forward relationship between the pressure, force and piston surface area enables the scale of the measuring instrument to be graduated in a variety of units, e.g. kN, kg, t, m3 or litres. Maximum piston stroke is 0.8 mm. The widely differing conditions governing installation, particularly in the case of the ring shaped load cells, will often require different designs of casing and fastenings. In most cases it would be possible to adapt design to customer´s requirements. The measuring devices employed may be pressure gauges, pressure sensors or other pressure measuring devices fitted with contacts.
Ring Force TransducersMiniature Ring Force Transducer for small forces from 1 N Miniature force transducers are especially designed to have small dimensions. Because of their compactness, these force transducers can be used in a wide range of industrial and laboratory applications. Small dimensions enable force transducers to be installed where the forces to be measured can be directed straight through the force transducer. They are designed for the measurement of compression forces in the range between 1 N and 10 N. The field of application of this force transducer lies in innumerable applications where simple installation is a very important factor. The force transducer is easy to use due to the simple way force is applied. The force is applied vertically to the load cell axis to the complete ring surface (inner and outer ring).
