Precision Fine Tapping Machines With Pitch Control

Extremely versatile, double cone tapping machines are small but have precise holes and can be operated with single and continuous cycle selection. The double cone tapping machines are fitted with hardened and ground lead screw which enables automatic cycle with controlled Pitch while tapping. The lead screw provides continuous cycle operation of spindle movement there by achieving consistency in quality of threads during mass production. The machines are suitable for tapping from M1.2 onwards.

Tapping cum drilling machines are high precision machines ideally suitable for small and medium sizes intricate parts in the production line. The spindle is made of high-grade alloy steel which is hardened and ground. The thrust bearings absorb drilling force. The headstock movement over column can be adjusted using lead screw and hand wheel provided on machines to accommodate jigs, fixtures and to adjust the work place between spindle nose and base. The minimum and maximum drilling operation could be performed from Ø1.0mm to Ø25mm in steel. The spindle nose taper provided as per international standards to accommodate HSS drilling of respective capacities with firm grip. The fitment of lead screw and nut enable to active cent percent accurate threads. The spindle in mounted in taper roller bearing to take drilling thrust and give spindle trueness closer than specified in IS standards. Minimum deflection is ensured even at high drilling pressure.
