This is the packaged model industrial cooling tower. It is available from 7.5 Tr to  100 Tr. It is packaged model so you can just fix the inlet & outlet connection in your site no need of errection work at site.

FRP Cooling towers are withstand corrosion, resist water borne bacteria’s and organisms and it is light in weight, vertical induced draft counter flow design permits installation in any direction with freedom being round the air flow through the tower is more evenly distributed. Cooling tower casing is made of selected grade materials of Fiber Glass Reinforced Plastic & resins. Additional embossing is done for extra strength. FRP casings and basins are designed withstand severe vibration, high wind load and to resist corrosion. Honeycomb PVC fills are used for extended contact area having high heat transfer efficiency. The crossing of air & water streams in close proximaty, which creates a diffused turbulence conductive to evaporation & efficient heat transfer.

Specially designed rotary sprinkler head is made of PVC/Aluminium alloy/Nylon to avoid corrosion, also fitted with sealed ball bearings to take care of thrust & radial loads. It is distribute the water uniformly over the entire space of the fills. The fan consists of axial propeller fan blades of special alloy aluminium blades of aero dynamic designed axial flow type to achieve high efficiency. To reduce carry out losses through entrainment of moisture drops in the stream by special designed multi blade rotary drift eliminator made of FRP sheets.

Additional PVC eliminator is provided in large capacity cooling towers. Special low RPM totally enclosed motors of vertical, flange type with SS 304 extended and threaded shaft and sealed top is supplied with the cooling tower. The motor is also weather proof and in IP-55 construction. All components like tower supports, motor supports, leg supports etc are either hot dip galvanized or epoxy coated. Hardware is galvanized steel.

Casing is constructed from FRP moulded panels suitably flanged. All joints sealed with water proof compound and bolted together with galvanized steel bolts or stainless steel bolts unless specified otherwise. Additional embossing is done for extra strength.

General fills consists of honeycomb PVC film type splash deck is modules with high resistant to corrosion & highly efficient for heat transfer water distribution system. The hot water is raised by hot water riser & taken inside by a M.S.H.D.G/PVC hot water header inside. Branch distribution pipes fitted with polypropylene splash cups/non clogging nozzles are connected to hot water header and uniform water distribution over entire fill is achieved. It is totally maintenance free distribution.

We also supply The Cross Flow Square type FRP Cooling Towers and Counter Flow Cooling Tower In wooden construction for high temperature and cooling towers can be made available in any color of the client’s choice.

The Coil Cooling towers are very compact and aerodynamically designed for Diesel engines and LT & HT circuits. CCT Tower is air cooled equipment. So just you fill small quantity of water after that its not required additional water. Due to the closed circuit there is no evaporation loss. It saves the water cent percent. You can fill any type or quality of water. No need of water softening plant or treatment chemicals. In first time just you fill small quantity of common drinking water. Due to closed circuit, same water will be circulated continually and no chance for evaporation. So that scale will not be separate from the water and it is not deposit at any where in the heat transfer area.

Our coolers are very compact and there is no any restriction for the location of the plant, atmospheric air is the cooling media. It cools the hot water and maintains the temperature of process hot water at a particular level. It has designed for highest ambient temperature so we could run the engine in 100% load even in peak summer. It has fan and electric motor to cool the water. And our coolers are specially designed aerodynamically for power saving we are provide thermostat controls to switch of the fan motor in the time of cool ambient temperature. And there is no chance to mix of dust. Fly. Living organisms and dirt with process water. Air is the cooling media. So there is no corrosion problem. Our Timber Cooling towers are designed for the highest efficiency at the lowest operating cost. Fans, gear boxes, fill and drift eliminators are optimized to deliver maximum cooling with minimum applied horse power for operating cost. Our towers provide more wetted surface area for uniform water distribution and higher heat transfer rate.

The structural timbers are made out of pine wood (or) chirr wood after properly seasoned and chemically treated to with stand its life against biting, fungus and termite etc., Different types of preservative treated wooden splash bars, PVC bars are used depending on applications. Different types of fill materials with different shapes are available according to suited design of applications. Fills are designed to offer maximum splash surface and wetted surface resulting in a high heat transfer rate. The wooden fills are supported on FRP/SS grids which assure positive & permanent positioning and to assure uniform water distribution throughout the life of the tower. It allows splash bars to expand, contact without cracking and sagging. And the FRP/SS grid systems reduce draft loss to a minimum and non corrosive. Boiler waterproof plywood (Marine grade) / treated timber are used for hot water chamber.

Heat exchangers are having two divisions one is shell heat exchangers where there are two fluid Medias are used for exchanging heat in tube and shell side. For this purpose seamless/ERW pipes are used for shell and rolled shells are also used. For tubes seamless, copper, brass, cupronickel, stainless steel is used. The end of tube is properly expanded with tube expanded up to a pressure level of 1000 PSI pressure.

Fixed tube heat exchangers are the ones that are very much used in process chemical industries and refinery services, as there is absolutely no chance for intermixing of fluids. This type of heat exchanger is employed where even slightest intermixing of fluids can not be tolerated. The special features of Removable bundle type heat exchanger is that the tube bundle can be withdrawn from the shell which facilities cleaning of the outer surface of the tubes and inner surface of the shell. The sealing between the shell and tube side fluids achieved by means of rubber o rings which set in a groove between the tubes a shell flange.

Plate Type Heat Exchanger
A plate type heat exchanger is a type of heat exchanger that uses metal plates to transfer heat between two fluids. This has a major advantage over a conventional heat exchanger in that the fluids are exposed to a much larger surface area because the fluids spread out over the plates. This facilitates the transfer of heat, and greatly increases the speed of the temperature change. It is not as common to see plate heat exchangers because they need well-sealed gaskets to prevent the fluids from escaping, although modern manufacturing processes have made them feasible.

The concept behind a heat exchanger is the use of pipes or other containment vessels to heat or cool one fluid by transferring heat between it and another fluid. In most cases, the exchanger consists of a coiled pipe containing one fluid that passes through a chamber containing another fluid. The walls of the pipe are usually made of metal, or another substance with a high thermal conductivity, to facilitate the interchange, whereas the outer casing of the larger chamber is made of a plastic or coated with thermal insulation, to discourage heat from escaping from the exchanger. The plate heat exchanger (PHE) was invented by Dr Richard Seligman in 1923 and revolutionized methods of indirect heating and cooling of fluids.

Plate type heat exchanger one is composed of multiple, thin, slightly-separated plates that have very large surface areas and fluid flow passages for heat transfer. This stacked-plate arrangement can be more effective, in a given space, than the shell and tube heat exchanger. Advances in gasket and brazing technology have made the plate-type heat exchanger increasingly practical. In HVAC applications, large heat exchangers of this type are called plate-and-frame; when used in open loops, these heat exchangers are normally of the gasket type to allow periodic disassembly, cleaning, and inspection. There are many types of permanently-bonded plate heat exchangers, such as dip-brazed and vacuum-brazed plate varieties, and they are often specified for closed-loop applications such as refrigeration. Plate heat exchangers also differ in the types of plates that are used, and in the configurations of those plates. Some plates may be stamped with "chevron" or other patterns, where others may have machined fins and/or grooves.

Liquid foods such as milk, fruit juices, beers, wines, and liquid eggs are pasteurized using plate-type heat exchangers. Wine and fruit juices are normally deaerated prior to pasteurization in order to remove oxygen and minimize oxidative deterioration of the products. Plate-type heat exchangers consist of a large number of thin, vertical steel plates that are clamped together in a frame.

Marine Coolers are the most common way to cool a boat's engine, using the lake, river or ocean water in which the boat floats. Since this water may be corrosive the engine may be cooled by a sealed mixture of distilled water and antifreeze. Heat from the water-antifreeze mixture is then transferred to the ocean (or lake or river) water which flows into a heat exchanger. The water-antifreeze mixture runs through the heat exchanger dumping heat, but remaining separate from corrosive salts and chemicals found in the water the boat is floating in. If the ocean water eventually corrodes and ruins the heat exchanger it can be replaced at a fraction of the cost of replacing the engine. To protect the marine heat exchanger from corrosive salts, a sacrificial zinc anode is screwed into the heat exchanger. This anode must be periodically replaced as part of regular maintenance.

Because the water the boat floats in may be contaminated with floating particles such as wood or styrofoam balls the well designed boat will have a filter (often stainless steel mesh) to remove these particles before they are moved toward the heat exchanger. This filter must be periodically cleaned or else the flow of water to the heat exchanger will become obstructed and the engine will overheat.

Ocean water is caused to flow through the heat exchanger by an impeller, often made of rubber and looking like a paddle wheel. Impellers commonly fail by having their paddles fall off and when this happens the engine will overheat unless promptly shut off. Many marine engines using heat exchangers have a grease reservoir for the impeller. In such cases a screw is often made part of the reservoir and is turned a small amount periodically, such as once a month, to apply a bit of grease to the rubber impeller to reduce friction and prolong its life.

A consequence of using a heat exchanger on an in-hull marine engine is that there must be a thru-hull opening below the waterline to admit the ocean water to the marine cooler. Most boats with this arrangement have a valve which closes this hole when the boat is unattended so that a leak in the cooling system will not cause the boat to fill with water and eventually sink.

FRP Fan:

FRP Fan is An-aero dynamically designed axial flow type fan which has a well balanced construction. Fiber and epoxy materials are used to create the fan blades which are designed for low vibration and high efficiency. Compared to aluminum fans, the fans systems with FRP blades give the same air flow parameters and yet the power consumption is less by 25 %.
 
PVC Fills:

 PVC Fills consist of modular block of PVC with honey combs construction to create prolonged contact time of hot air with water for maximum heat transfer. These are Available in 6,12,19,25/27 mm flute size.
 
Motor:

Motors are totally enclosed (IP55), flange type, 420 V, 3ph, 50 Hz, induction weather proof with SS304 extended shaft and are specially designed for cooling tower application.

Rotating Sprinkler enables uniform distribution of water over the honey combs fill by self propulsion and eliminates the need for atomizing the water through nozzles. The head side includes ball bearing which requires minimum maintenance.
