It is centbucridine hydrochloride, an original research molecule of Themis Medicare and CDRI. Centbucridine is a local anaesthetic agent. It is a tetrahydro acridine derivative. It has got local anaesthetic action with inherent vasoconstrictive and antihistaminic actions. Anablok 0.5% is equipotent to lignocaine 2%, thus 4 times more potent than lignocaine.

It is ketamin hydrochloride, a general anaesthetic agent which was introduced for the first time in India by Themis Medicare. Ketmin produces dissociative anaesthesia. It is the only anaesthetic agent that can be given intramuscularly and intravenously. As it produces mild respiratory stimulation and bronchodilation it is considered as ideal for asthmatic patients. It is also suitable for hypovolemic patients. Ketmin is available in l0mg / ml and 50mg / ml strengths, both in vials and ampoules.
