Services include Specialty Consulting, Manufacture and Maintenance of Custom built furnaces catering to array of industrial applications such as Hardening, Tempering, Annealing, Sintering, Vacuum Annealing, Controlled Atmosphere Heat Treatment up to 2500°C.
Since 1964, Therelek has been servicing the Metallurgical Industries, manufacturing custom built and heat treatment furnaces.
In 1981, the operations started in Bangalore to cater the diverse requirements, by specialized manufacturing of High Temperature Furnace up to 2500°C, Vacuum Furnaces, Sintering Furnaces etc., catering to Ceramic, Powder Metal, Tool and Die Manufacturing Industries.
In 1997, we set up a commercial heat treatment facility attached to our manufacturing facility at Peenya, Bangalore by installing state of the art vacuum furnaces, sealed quench furnaces and auxiliary equipment for case hardening of auto components. New heat treatment processes like, Gas Nitriding, Austempering, Hydrogen / Vacuum annealing etc were carried out by putting up additional equipment and advanced process control systems.
We got our ISO:9001:2000 accreditation in 2001 for Heat treatment; and in 2009, we have been accredited, NADCAP certification, the first commercial Heat Treater in India to achieve the same.
NADCAP accreditation is recognized for exclusive aerospace / aircraft component heat treatment and we serve customers who are OEM suppliers to Boeing, Airbus, Mc Donald, Rolls Royce, Pratt, Whitney etc.
Our unit Number 2, for Commercial Heat Treatment was set up at Jigani (near Bangalore) in 2005, with investment of Rs. 120 million, where we carryout specialized heat treatment up to 1500 tonnes / annum.
We have fully equipped Metallurgical testing facilities and are also qualified to carry out CQI-9, Heat treatment equipment validation including Temperature Calibration services.
Our fundamental business strategy is building long-term client relationships. With more than 40 years in the industry, we have attracted and retained clients by providing superior customer value. In fact, over 90 percent of our work is repeat business from our loyal clients. |
