Introduction-


To meet the demanding requirements of motion control applications in industrial automation and satisfy the needs of high-precision positioning control requested by machine designers and system integrators, Delta launched the high-performance motion control ASDA-A2 series servo motors and servo drives in 2009.

The current trend of motion control is to have the control command source close to the drive. To catch this trend, Delta developed the new ASDA-A2 series, offering excellent motion control function so that the external controller could be almost eliminated. ASDA-A2 series features a built-in electronic cam (E-CAM) function which is the best solution for flying shear, rotary cutoff and synchronized motion applications. The whole new position control Pr mode is a unique and most significant function that provides a variety of control modes and definitely enhances system performance. The AB series is a high performance digital servo system with advanced functions and supports various motor options including low, medium and high inertia servo motors to meet different application needs. The Delta DD series elevator door control drive is an intelligent drive with outstanding features that include a modularized design for easy removal and installation of terminal blocks, a power switch designed for safety, and a built-in digital keypad that provides quick operation control. This drive offers four door control modes for door opening and closing. The distance control mode is controlled by an encoder that counts PG pulses to obtain the speed position without sensor. The speed control mode is to control the speed and it needs detection sensors to execute the door open and close action. The multi-step speed control mode generates a smooth door open-and-close curve using PLC control. ES2 series is a small PLC for basic sequential control. It is economical, highly efficient and functional.

The left-side parallel high speed extension interface on SV series is able to connect to all kinds of network interface, e.g. Ethernet, DeviceNet, ProfiBus, analog and temperature modules for the demand of immediate control. 16 special extension modules (digital, analog, axis control, communication, etc.) are connectable to SV series (8 on the left and 8 on the right). The built-in 200KHz 4-axis independent pulse output and the featured 2 groups of linear/arc interpolation motion control instructions offer an easy positioning control solution.

The 2nd generation DVP-SS2 series slim type PLC keeps the basic sequential control functions from the DVP-SS series PLC but with faster execution speed and enhanced real-time monitoring capability.

DVP series & CliQ series power supplies are the latest offering from Delta Electronics. DTA series is designed for practical applications with 3 most-frequently adopted signal outputs in the industry and is built-in with various handy functions and transmission structure, ensuring fast and stable transmission of data.

Compared with DTA series, DTB is additionally equipped with linear voltage signal output and dual output control, capable of executing heating and cooling controls simultaneously in a temperature control system and fast reaching the target temperature.

The modulized DTC series saves wiring and the parallel modules are able to monitor many temperature points. The flexible output methods enable the user to plan the output modes according to the actual needs. The built-in password protection prevents improper operation or damages caused by the operation staff.

DTE series is a multi-channel modular temperature controller, supporting maximum 8 groups of thermocouple/platinum resistance input. The DIN rail installation saves wires, and the controller on each channel can work independently at the same time. DTE offers several output modules (relay, voltage pulse, current output and linear voltage output). The built-in 2-wire RS-485 communication is able to reach baud rate of 115,200bps. In programmable control, DTE is able to set up 64 sets of different temperature and control time. In addition, maximum 7 DTC2000 controllers are extendable to DTE, and DTE supports the synchronous communication protocol and auto ID setup function which DTC series also supports.
