Mr. Peter P.Rebeiros dream, Thomson Equipments took shape in 1998.
A manufacturing and export company for jewellery machinery, it began as a small operation before flourishing under the diligent eyes of Mr Peter Rebeiro.
As the team grew, so did the will to flourish together. Today, Thomson is a booming manufacturing house with a global reputation for high quality products. Operating successfully in the global market, it has a super-efficient and highly organized manufacturing unit in India.
The first jewellery machine manufactured by us is the Gold Melting machine, made according to the requirements of a company we have a maintenance contract with.
A second Machine design by us customized Vacuum Investment Gold Casting Machine, that was successfully installed and soon widely accepted by all our customers becaus of its added features of an Investment Mixing System and down pouring system. It saved clients a lot of time, Compared to other machines, and was also cost effective.
After the successful installation of the Vacuum Investment Gold Casting Machine, Thomson manufactured a unique machine called the Pneumatic Hydraulic Sprue cutter,for use in tree and Sprue cutting. This was also a hit. The machine works at double the speed of normal such machines. The blades also last longer compared to the other machines, making it very cost effective.
Then Thomson concentrated on manufacturing jewellery machines and, today Thomson can manufacture customised machinery to fit all requirements.
After sometimes Thomson manufactured an Induction Melting and Casting Machine. Later, we had a special request for a high-frequency (40Khz IGBT Technology Based) Induction Brazing Machine from a reputed oil field company to be used in SS-316 grade (stainless steel with silver). It was as successful as the machines built before it. We then designed a similar machine for the jewellery industry, to be used in Platinum melting.
