The aramide threads are used in high temp application as they have excellent combination of heat-resistance. These threads are available in non-bonded & bonded form. Our aramide threads are ideal for sewing, woven & non-woven articles to be used as flame/ heat protective clothing. Para-aramide is about 5 times stronger per weight than steel and twice as strong as nylon & 4 times stronger as in-aramide x heat resistance. P-aramid threads are extensively used for bullet proof vests, ballistic protective clothing due to its unique features of extra high strength, toughness, & exceptional thermal stability.
the features and specifications are as follow: - temp around 3700c (7000f)
- little degradation i. M-meta aramid fibres ave mode into continuous multi filament as well as cut-length form.
- decomposition temp. Is approx 4250c (8000f), higher than m pava-aramids are (kevlar & spun kevlar) swing thread
- tenacity: 22-26
- continuous operating temp of 375
- melting point doesn't melt p-aramid threads are also produced in continuous multifilament thread, continuous multifilament threads are available in a natural yellow color
- ‘nasa’ procures (p-aramid/stainless) steel threads for use in its space shuttle
