TNAU has a highly accredited Agro Technology University tracing its genesis to the Agricultural School at Saidapet, Chennai, in the year 1868. Our university has excelled in providing research and extension activities and is also known for supporting research products for the State Agricultural Department. We also take pride in our library, which is the oldest in the city, operational since 1910.
