Normally Coconut Trees are growing up to 20-40 feet height, for harvest of nuts and other cultivation practices it needs trained persons to climb the tree. Now a days there is very less no of such a kind persons and it also includes high risk, by considering the above facts TNAU designed a simple tree climbing instrument.

Pseudomonas fluorescence bacteria effectively control wilts and root rot diseases of Groundnut, Cotton, Banana, Soybean, Tomato, Pigeon pea etc., It also controls the rice blast and sheath blight of Paddy. Method of Use:

• Remove / Peel the barks of the tree above 4 inch from the ground level and apply tree killer using brush before bark removed portion gets dry


• Then Cover the tree killer applied area by rolling old cloth then apply tree killer over the cloth and allow to dry, after some days the trees started to get dry


• The dried trees will not grow again

Trichoderma viride is potential antagonistic fungus which prevents the crops from diseases viz. Root rots, Wilts, brown rot, damping off, Charcoal rot and other soil born diseases in crops.
