Tool Masters manufactures Reamers which are multi-fluted, end-cutting tools used to finish previously formed holes to exact diameters. Reamers should not be used to enlarge holes significantly — the maximum recommended use to enlarge a hole is 5 percent depending on the material being machined and its hardness.

Reamers cut at their chamfered edges and a standard 45 degree angle provides effective cutting action for most workpiece materials.

Threading Taps have straight flutes of a number specified as either standard or optional. Hand taps are for general purpose applications such as production tapping or hand tapping operations. Taper, plug and bottoming styles provide versatility in tough materials, blind and through holes.
