Tool Masters manufactures Reamers which are multi-fluted, end-cutting tools used to finish previously formed holes to exact diameters. Reamers should not be used to enlarge holes significantly — the maximum recommended use to enlarge a hole is 5 percent depending on the material being machined and its hardness. Reamers cut at their chamfered edges and a standard 45 degree angle provides effective cutting action for most workpiece materials. |
