INDIAMART AT HOTELTECH BAKETECH SHOW, KERALA-INDIA

Organized by Samanuaya Communications in Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Hoteltech & Baketech Show attracted more than 100 suppliers and service providers of equipment to showcase their expertise to the hospitality industry. This three day event displayed latest hospitality technologies, equipments and ideas for innovative services. Hoteltech and Baketech Show 2009 are also laced with technology and industry seminars. The Hoteltech seminar will cover major topics related to the industry such as, Save Energy, Waste Management & Hygiene and Quality. Directors of restaurants, cafes, bars, hotels, entertainment complexes, Head of confectioneries, bakeries, meat and fish processing factories, Representatives of tourist agencies, sanatoriums, health centre, Representatives of cleaning companies and laundries all gathered in the show to mark their presence.

Located at Kadavanthra of Ernakulam District, Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium was constructed in 1993. The floor of the stadium is made up of teak and extends to an area of 20,000 sq ft. The stadium has a seating capacity of nearly 10000 persons. At a time the stadium can accommodate upto 12 shuttle courts or 3 tennis courts or 3 basketball courts or 16 table tennis tables or one handball court or three volleyball courts. This venue is also used for exhibitions, trade meetings and seminars. This fair ground also has a floodlit stadium of international standards. This expo proved to be a meeting place for more than 100 suppliers and service providers. 19 exhibitors participated in the event from Kerala followed by 15 from Tamil Nadu, 4 from Andhra Pradesh, 3 each from Karnataka and New Delhi and the rest from states like Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. The range exhibited was vast and showcased the equipment of the hospitality industry like Equipment for Kitchen and Dining Rooms, Equipment for Bars and Cafes, Dishes and Utensils, Design and Finish of the Interior, Furniture for Hotels, Restaurants and Clubs, Textile and Uniforms, Sound, Light and Project Equipment, Equipment for Billiards and Casinos, Equipment for Bathrooms and Fitness, Automated Control, Cash and Payment Systems, Personnel Recruitment, Professional Cleaning etc.

The hospitality industry in India witnessed the national and international players meeting under one roof. In the midst of such an accelerated business platform, we were able to generate immense response from fellow exhibitors and prospective visitors. Our able representatives provided them with complete knowledge regarding the B2B concept as well as the usefulness of the website alongwith the importance of the IndiaMART sourcing guides, which contains information on suppliers of the sector including info on the entire industry.
