INDIAMART AT INTERTEX MILANO, MILAN-ITALY

INTERTEX MILANO 2010 was a trade fair for the textile industry and was organized by T. D. F. SRL at Palazzo Delle Stelline Congress Center. It was the 19th edition of this prestigious trade fair. This was the first time in its history that INTERTEX MILANO was open to the producers and exporters from all over the world. The event witnessed the participation of exhibitors from 22 countries that brought their regional textile and fabrics to Italy. It was an opportunity for Italian textile tycoons to look at the textile industries from other countries and create new business opportunities. The trade fair lasted for started on 8th September 2010 and lasted for three days that were full of great trading opportunities.

Palazzo Delle Stelline Congress Center is located within the Palazzo Delle Stelline hotel and has been famous for hosting some of the best trade show events in the past. Its location is one of its major selling points as it is positioned close to the metro station. The fair ground is located at a peaceful and quiet location which is ideal for holding a conference. The halls and meeting rooms are spacious and wireless internet is also provided.

INTERTEX MILANO attracted exhibitors from all over the world. China had the most number of participants with 27 exhibitors representing the country and India stood second with 9 exhibitors. The exhibitors mainly dealt with products like Stoles & shawls, ready garments, Cotton fabrics, Linen fabrics, Denim fabrics, Wool fabrics, Knitted fabrics, Functional fabrics, yarns, clothing, fashion accessories and Embroidery & Lace.

The T.D.F.SRL is a consultancy and public relation company and has been active in organizing trade shows and conferences. They are official spokesperson of prestigious trade shows like Pret-a-Porter Paris and International Istanbul Fashion Fair. T.D.F.SRL is famous for its high level of quality without any compromises. It works in close quarters with exhibitors and organizes trade shows based on the tastes of the intended visitors. It provides all kinds of facilities necessary for a successful event and takes care of every minute detail necessary for a world class event.

IndiaMART.com was actively involved at the INTERTEX MILANO. Our hall was located close to the main entrance and was easily visible to the visitors. On an average 50 visitors visited our stall each day of the event. Most of the visitors were very keen and knowledgeable about IndiaMART.com and were keen to buy from us. Most of the visitors were Manufacturers, Exporter, importer and Authorized Distributors. Apart from Indian visitors, people from Turkey, Italy and Switzerland also visited our stall. We were able to distribute 105 sourcing guides related with Apparel & Fashion Accessories Sourcing Guides at the event. Moreover, we were able to collect important business contacts and data from 93 business visitors. Overall, our performance was satisfactory as we were able to bring in new international customers at INTERTEX MILANO.
