About Event

Metalex is recognized as Asia's pioneer metalworking technologies exhibition which is aimed towards finding new opportunities in the industrial arena worldwide. Hosted by Reed Tradex, Metalex 2009 became a hub of renowned players from machine tools and metalworking machinery industry. Organized at BITEC for 4 days, here nearly 55,000 Thai and ASEAN buyers took active participation in the show and was directed towards unveiling over 4000 new machinery and technologies. It was held along with conferences and seminars.

The Fair Ground

Opened in the year 1997, Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre(BITEC) is a world famous convention & exhibition hall and is situated in Bang Na district of Bangkok. With a total floor are of 50,400 square meters, it is backed with years of expertise in successfully organizing several business events and is the esteemed organizer of Bangkok International Motor Show.

Exhibitors Profile

Here nearly 2700 providers of metalworking technologies and machine tools, of around 50 nations, capitalized trading opportunities and exhibited their products/services on such a global platform. The show proved a launching pad for lunch of some of its items.

Some of the displayed items are machine tools, welding technology, mold & die, tube technology, pump & valve, metal sheet and many more.

Our Participation

IndiaMART, world's leading B2B platform, also participated in this 4 days show and offered a global exposure to Indian suppliers. Here our stall no. 106 was thronged with crowd which comprised of manufacturers, exporters, suppliers of different industrial sectors. Our representatives had a busy time in attending crowd who showed deep interest towards our sourcing guides. We imparted information on uses of sourcing guides and distributed them to visitors. We distributed nearly 510 Engineering & Industrial Products Sourcing Guides along with ISG related to medical, auto, apparel and home decor. Our IndiaMART logo promotional bags were also visible in the hands of visitors throughout these 4 days.
