INDIAMART AT SOURCING AT MAGIC, LAS VEGAS-U.S.A.

Sourcing at Magic 2010 was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center and was dedicated to the suppliers related with the apparel industry. The event was organized by MAGIC International and lasted for 4 days that were full of new trading opportunities for the participants. The visitors at the event had direct access to the largest gathering of apparel manufacturers, fabric & component suppliers, and print design studios in North America. The trade fair offered a great opportunity for doing business without much travel as it brought all the major players in the industry under one roof. Over 700 companies in over 40 countries were present at Sourcing at Magic 2010, giving it an unprecedented reach to a global audience.

The Las Vegas Convention Center spreads over a massive area of 23 million square feet and is rated as one of the largest venue for hosting trade fairs in North America. It comprises of 18 meeting rooms, a 90,000 square feet exhibit hall and a 20,340 square feet pavilion. The venue was established on April 29, 1959, and it has built up a strong reputation for itself which is built on the success of previous events held at the venue. It boasts of state of the art facilities, excellent rooms and great halls that are ideal for hosting major trade events.

Sourcing at Magic attracts exhibitors who like to display their clothes to the best business clients from around the world. The major exhibitors are Apparel & Footwear Manufacturers, Fabric & Textile Mills, Trim & Components Suppliers, Textile Print Design and Service Providers. Exhibitors from all around the globe came to the event and China led the pack with 439 exhibitors and India came a distant second with 65 exhibitors.

Magic International Inc. is based in New Delhi, India and is behind this event. Sourcing at Magic 2010 had a dedicated focus on Indian fashion which was brought to light by the organizers in all its full glory. Magic International Inc. is new in business but they have all the credentials of becoming successful. They have already organized Women’s Wear Daily Magic at the same venue which was hugely appreciated in the trade circles.

IndiaMART.com was one of the leading participants at the event. The venue had one magic hall and 2 sourcing halls, and we were located at one of the sourcing halls. Our stall was visited by over 200 visitors each day. The visitors were mainly retailers, whole sellers, exporters, importers and distributors. Due to the quality of visitors, we were able to create various business ventures at the trade show. T shirts, jackets and jeans were the main clothing items that were sought after by the buyers. Over the whole duration of the show, we were able to distribute 245 Apparel & Fashion Accessories Sourcing Guideamongst very keen visitors from all over the globe.
