INDIAMART AT TEXGATE, ISTANBUL - TURKEY

Organized at Istanbul CNR EXPO Fair Center, this year Texgate attracted 11,924 professionals out of which 2,083 were international and 61 exhibitors from China, India, Turkey, Japan, Korea and many more to become a part of this fair. Visitors from many countries including Russia, Bulgaria, Greece, Syria, Egypt, Iran and Bosnia Herzegovina both followed the latest developments in the sector and established new business connections. After the success of first Texgate in March which captivated 131 exhibitors, this fair served the purpose of visitors like fashion designers, ready-to-wear manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors, agents, representatives of importer and exporter companies and buyers of chain stores. The product line of Texgate was made up of weaving, knitting, denim and other fabrics, fibers, fiberglass and other textile accessories.

Spread in an area of 10,000 sq. mt., CNR Expo Center served as the venue for Texgate. Located at an excellent point of Istanbul this is the most convenient Trade Fair Venue with numerous transportation and travel alternatives. Well connected through subway and buses this place is near Aaturk airport. This convention center is biggest in Eurasia and has 8 halls that can be used for meetings, seminars, banquets and coffee breaks. It also has 3 VIP lounges and car park capacity of 5000 vehicles. Well connected with metro this fairground also has CCTV controlled security service.

Around 250 participants gathered at CNR Expo to display their textile fabrics and accessories. There were exhibitors from Turkey, India, China, Japan and Korea to mark their presence. The categories displayed by exhibitors were broadly cotton fabrics, silk fabrics, linen fabrics, stretch fabrics, viscose fabrics, tencel fabrics, printed fabrics, polycotton fabrics, yarns, 100% polyester fabrics, coated artificial fur, knitted fabric, embroidery, coated fabric, polyester fabric, velvet, knitted velvet, polyester micro fiber, nylon fabric and snap fasteners. Leading textile companies like Universal Tekstil, Tup Merserize, Akincilar, Botas, Nehir, Dincerler, Celik Tas, Besa and Nevzat Triko were among the exhibitors of the fair. The fair was attended by Fabric Wholesalers & Retailers, Trim and Leather Buyers, Yarn Purchasers, Production Managers, Dressmakers, Garment Manufacturers, Media Organizations and Trade Press, Dressmakers, Domestic and International Agencies, Purchasing Managers of Large Distributors, Independent Stylists.

Istanbul Trade Fairs Inc., was the organizer for Texgate. Established in the year 2000, ITF is a joint venture between CNR Holding and ITE Group Plc. IndiaMART also participated in Texgate and successfully attracted around 300 visitors till the closing of the event. Large number of wholesalers, manufacturers, purchasers and dressmakers attended the show in order to find an opportunity to do business with the global suppliers. IndiaMART's stall A 05 was good as it was set near the entrance in hall 2. Representatives from IndiaMART along with hostesses were very keen and aggressive to get the message of the company across to all who arrived at the stall. The demand for the sourcing guides was numerous and we distributed 1000 Apparel & Fashion Accessories Sourcing Guide amongst the curious visitors. Apart from this IndiaMART promotional bags with eye catching logo was also highly in demand.
