INDIAMART AT WIN WORLD PART 1, ISTANBUL-TURKEY

Held in February 2009, this year Win Part 1 attracted around 43,645 professional visitors from 70 countries and 659 direct exhibitors from Azerbaijan, Iraq, Albania, Iran, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Morocco, Russia, Syria, Tunisia and Jordan. Organized by Hannover Messe in TUYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center, Win World 1 is one of the biggest industrial production events in the Eurasian region. The first phase of Win World of Industry showcased 14th Machine Manufacturing and Metal Processing Technologies Fair, 9th Joining, Welding and Cutting Technologies Fair, 3rd Peening Technologies Fair, 8th Transportation, Storage, Stacking and Logistics Fair. Focusing on the major categories of machinery, welding surface treatment and materials handling, Win World Part1 acts as a platform for attendees of Machine Components, Hand Tools, Welding Automation Systems, Surface Cleaning and Pre-Treatment Equipment, Complete and Turnkey Materials Handling Systems, and many more.

Tuyap Fair Center served as the fair place for Win World Part 1. Spread in an area of 60,000 square meters Tuyap is known as the Turkey's largest privately owned exhibition center as it attracts 14,000 exhibitors from over 60 countries and nearly 2 million visitors. Founded in 1979, this center has the facility of shuttle buses also. The highlighting features of the center are:

• 42,000 sq mt exhibition area
• 10 different exhibition halls adjustable for conferences, seminars and meetings
• 7 different cafeterias and 1 a la carte restaurant
• Car parking for over 4500 vehicles
• 11 meeting halls of various sizes from 50 to 750

Around 659 attendees gathered at TUYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center to display their machine components. The show attracted 484 exhibitors from Turkey followed by 92 from Germany, 18 from Italy, 17 from Japan and the rest from countries like Egypt, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, China, Czech Republic, Sweden, UK, USA, France, Netherlands and India to mark their presence. The categories displayed by exhibitors were broadly machinery, welding, surface treatment and materials handling which further displayed Pressurized Air Systems, Industrial Materials, Special and Non-Metal Working Machinery, Metal Working Machinery, Special and Non-Metal Working Machinery, Welding Automation Systems, Welding and Filling Materials, Welding and Cutting Machinery and Equipment, Galvanization Systems, Special Surface Coating Technologies, Paint, Varnish and Coating Materials, Paint and Plastics Coating Systems, Warehousing and Storage Systems, Materials Handling and Logistics Services, Cranes and Transport Systems, and many more.

IndiaMART also participated in Win World Part 1 and successfully attracted around 125 visitors on the very first day which mounted to 500 till the closing of the event. Large number of wholesalers, manufacturers, distributors and traders attended the show in order to find an opportunity to do business with the global suppliers. IndiaMART's stall (A 160) was good as it was set near the entrance in Hall 8. Representatives from IndiaMART along with hired hostesses were very keen and aggressive to get the message of the company across to all who arrived at the stall. The demand for the sourcing guides was numerous and we distributed 600 Engineering & Industrial Products Sourcing Guides amongst the curious visitors. Apart from this IndiaMART promotional bags with eye catching logo was also highly in demand.
