The Research and Development department, a team of 70 research and development engineers, constantly work to bring out products with appropriate technology and features to meet the changing customer needs.

Transasia manufactures entire range of Clinical Chemistry Analysers, Elisa Readers and Microplates.

These instruments manufactured, meet stringent quality requirements and demands of the customers across the country and 54 countries around the world. Transasia has 3 state of the art manufacturing units at Daman, SEEPZ and Baddi. These units are ISO 9001:2000 certified.

Quality Control Check :

We do extensive checks on all components and processed parts at all stages. Accuracy of patient data is ensured through extensive calibrator and control runs on each assembled instrument prior to its release for distribution.

CSR has always been an integral part of our vision and the organisation is taking steps to ensure its corporate support to community causes and contribute towards nation building”.

Summer Vacation Classes:
More than 50 students of Durga Devi BMC School were benefited from the Vacation Classes  conducted. During this programme, students were given guidance on topics like Health & Hygiene, Story Making, Good Habits, English Communication, Fundamentals of Mathematics, Eco & General Awareness, Paper Art, Craft, Drawing  etc. Transasia’s CSR coordinator, part time faculty and Management Team actively contributed in conducting these classes. It was heartening to see that not a single child dropped out from these classes. On the concluding day of the programme, students performed cultural events. This occasion was graced by Ms. Mala Vazirani,
ED, who handed over prizes to the winners.

Study Tours / Excursions:
Most of the students at BMC Schools never get an opportunity to go for educational excursions. Transasia organized an excursion for the children to ‘Keshav Srushti’, Uttan – at Bhayander, wherein about 50 students along with their Teacher had participated. During the excursion, students were taken for an eco visit where they received information on medicinal Plants and their importance in our day-to-day life.  External and Transasia’s staff took time out from their work schedule to  conduct interactive sessions and group activities for the students.      

Parental Counseling: 
Home Visit is one of the important features of the Student Development programme. Transasia’s CSR coordinator regularly visits each and every student’s home to understand and facilitate in resolving problems the students and their parents face. This is to avoid possibility of gradual disinterest of these students and consequential drop out from the study classes. The parents are counselled and made to understand the importance of education. 

Blood Donation Drive:
Transasia’s CSR cell organized a Blood Donation Drive at Transasia House on 21st Nov’09.  This was in association with Think foundation - a leading NGO and Sir JJ Mahanagar Rakapedhi. (State Blood Transfusion Council staff). Transasia employees donated 57 Life Saving units of Blood.

Mr. Suresh Vazirani, an Electrical Engineer from Nagpur University was undergoing a Management training programme at a large Multinational company. He abandoned this promising career, to join a social cause spearheaded by MRA (Moral Re-armament) for creating awareness amongst the youth for the need to build a great India - "A Clean, Strong and United India based on Secular Moral Principles".

Mr. Suresh Vazirani, who grew up in the scenario landscaped by the struggle and strife of the partition in India, worked honorary with this movement for eight years. In this period he traveled extensively throughout India, and other Asian Countries, meeting people from different walks of life, as varied as peasants and Prime ministers.

In 1979, at the age of 29, he started his business with a capital of Rs.250, the last honorarium from MRA. His enthused capabilities kept him searching for new ways to contribute to society. With a broad vision to serve Medical Community in the Indian Subcontinent, he marched single handedly with a novel idea of marketing & servicing of Bio-medical equipments. His individual efforts reaped the real fruits to his mission and the foundation stone for Transasia Bio-Medicals Ltd was carved in 1985. He has been the guiding force for Transasians and the Diagnostic community in India.

Sysmex Corporation-Japan:
Sysmex, whose principal activities are to develop, manufacture, market and sell clinical laboratory testing instruments to analyze cell and proteins contained in blood and urine is globally renowned for manufacturing Japan's first automated blood cell counter. Sysmex is also known for its "particle measuring technologies" and utilizing technologies to develop a variety of reagents, which are essential for inspections and tests. They also utilize technologies of systematization, which fully integrate robotics, information technology, and more in order to bring innovations to the sites of actual inspections. Integration of those various technologies is the driving force behind Sysmex's business activities.

Medica-USA:
Medica is known for being actively engaged in the development of new technology on which the company will base future analyzers with these same characteristics. The Company's rapid growth is a result of strategic focus on the worldwide need to lower healthcare costs. Medica uses its proprietary knowledge of ion-selective electrodes and analytical microchemistry to manufacture a line of easy-to-use, easy-to-maintain, and low-cost blood testing analyzers.

Wako-Japan:
Wako Chemicals USA, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd. of Japan. Wako Pure Chemicals Industries, Ltd., worldly renowned for its high purity chemicals, established Wako Chemicals USA, Inc. to expand its presence in the United States. The first US operations opened in 1981.

Awarded First State level Export award by Government of Maharashtra:
Transasia which is the first Indian company to manufacture & export sophisticated state of the art Blood analyzers and Reagents has been awarded the First State level Export award & the Second Regional award by The Industries Department, Govt. of Maharashtra in recognition of the export performance for the year 2006- 07 and 2005-06 respectively

Transasia, India's First and Only Diagnostic Company to export sophisticated computerised Blood Analysers & Reagents to over 30 countries world wide, receives the "National Export Award" presented by Hon. Prime Minister of India Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

A treasured moment in the eventful history of Transasia topped the pinnacle of glory on the 8th of May 2000. The Hon. Prime Minister of India Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee presented the Certificate of Merit to the proud and nostalgic Mr. Suresh Vazirani-CMD TRANSASIA BIO-MEDICALS at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. Transasia was one among the 35 Indian exporters to be awarded at the 32nd year of the National Export Awards, organised by FIEO.
