The compact design of SENTRON VL family of Moulded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB) coupled with their excellent features make things easier in the world of electrical distribution. Designed with minimum parts and maximum modularity, the new SENTRON VL range of Moulded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) offers two choices of trip units – “Thermo magnetic” trip unit and “Microprocessor” trip unit. The thermo magnetic (TM) range offers adjustable overload protection and is available from 20A to 630A.
The microprocessor (ETU) range in addition to wide band overload protection, offers the option of time selective short circuit protection and is available from 63A to 1600A. The incoming and outgoing side of the circuit breaker can be selected as desired. The SENTRON VL range of circuit breakers conform to the latest standards (IS 13 947 and IEC 60 947) and have been designed to protect cables, motors, transformers, wiring bus bars, as well as other plant equipment against thermal overload and short circuits.
Limit switches are used to determine the position of moving machine parts, doors or objects and to convert these positions into electrical signals forfurther processing in the control circuit. Construction: The 3LAO switches are available in size 2 for 25 Amps. and size 6 for 63 Amps. They are made up of uniform switching packet assembly to form a stack. Each packet consists of 2 sets of contacts whose moving contacts are operated by moulded plastic cams when the operating shaft is turned.
The stacking of similar packets renders it possible to build switches for practically all types of small drives, offering at the same time a uniform appearance. This and their compactness make them ideal for installation on machine tools. The 3LAO switches are ordinarily supplied with either black moulded plastic ball handles or machine handles.
The 3LD2 main control and EMERGENCY-STOP switches represent safety-oriented switching devices which can be employed in multiple applications in accordance with the EN 60204 machine directive. The bi metal overload relays type 3UA5/6 & 3UC5/6 relays are indigenously manufactured and bring to the users a whole range of benefits, which are a direct result of extensive R & D efforts in design, materials and manufacturing technology. They also incorporate additional features/benefits as a result of feedback from the users of our3UA19 relays. 3UA5 and 3UA5 are triple pole adjustable bi metal overload relays with built in single phasing protection. In conjunction with contactors and other motor control equipment, they provide accurate and reliable protection to motors against overload and single phasing as per 'Class 10A', in conformance to IEC 947-1-4 and IS 13947-4-1. They also offer protection against unbalanced voltages.
Siemens SITOR fuses type 3NE1—0 and 3NE8—1 with their superfast characteristics, effectively protect the semiconductors in the event of over currents in system.3NE1—0 SITOR fuse links with utilization category GS, in addition of providing semiconductor protection, also offer overload and short circuit protection of cables, conductors and bus bars.These fuses also carry the symbol of reliability – CE marking.

During installations, when the conventional HRC Fuses are mounted on the fuse bases or Switch Dis connector Fuse Units in panels as in Fuse Rails above certain height, it is very difficult to identify the status of the fuse link whether healthy or blown. This necessitates requirement of additional front indication.The combination indicator Fuse has two indicators as against one indicator in conventional fuses.One indicator is on top cover plate similar to conventional fuses and other indicator is at the centre of the ceramic body of the fuse link.This helps in clear identification of status of fuse even from front side.

SICOP contactors and bi-relays have been tested for type-2 coordination at IQ = 50kA, 415V, 50Hz as per IS:13947, for both fuse protected as well as fuseless motor feeders. We also offer special application specific contactor.
Siemens low voltage HRC fuses of BS type have been developed for industrial applications.
Due to the special design, they provide high rupturing capacity combined with low temperature rise under normal load conditions. The quick acting characteristics of the fuses ensure that under the worst fault conditions, cut off occurs before the peak value of fault current is reached. This ultimately reduces the electromagnetic stress and fire risk, thus avoiding premature failure of the downstream equipment.
