Transtrade Marketing Private Limited is a closely held company having been incorporated in 1990. Our areas of business are diversified into Manufacturing, Trading and Marketing.
We are knitters making HAND KNITTED GARMENTS and ACCESORRIES under the brand name of COUNTRY CLASSICS made from pure woolen yarn, blended yarn and cotton yarn. Our garments are of the highest international standards and we sell to customers in Western Europe and Japan.
The patterns we have been doing are mainly Irish Aran with Cable Work and a wide variety of designs are available. We have our own designs and sizes (both U.K. & U.S.A. sizes). We can also offer to make sweaters to the buyer''s specification (patterns and sizes) by either the yarn being supplied or we could also offer in Indian or imported yarn.
Our manufacturing units are located in Kolkata and Delhi. We have our team of supervisors trained to look into all the quality control required for international business. Without any compromise in Quality our objective is also to provide employment to poor women in India and today we have over 2000 trained knitters under our umbrella.
We also manufacture and trade in FURNITURE. Our range comprises of hand crafted, modern furniture and floorings made from seasoned and chemically treated solid wood. Besides the domestic market we have also entered exports which presently comprises small orders to U.K and U.S.A. We have also recently tied up to import and trade in furniture from China and Thailand.
Our diversified business also includes marketing and selling Specialized Paper i.e. Filter Paper required for Tea and Coffee bags. We are the exclusive agents in India and Nepal representing a large and reputed U.S.A. headquarter based company having their plants in England, Germany and France. In this particular paper presently we are the market leaders in India having our customer base large multinational companies.
We are also in Export business of Jute Wall Hanging and Jute Shopping Bags.
