Investment Casting and Its Benefits
Investment casting or precision casting or the "lost wax" is a method of producing
intricate shapes, weighing from a small fraction to a comparatively large one.
For every produced part, an ‘injection mold wax pattern’ is used. This is
encased in several layers of ceramics. After this the pattern is removed from
ceramic shell molds; the mold is fired in an oven. After this, molten metal is
poured into the cavities left by the evacuated wax pattern. When the mixture metal cools down, the resultant precision
castings are cleaned and subjected to further processing which involves heat
treatment. At this point, many parts are in their final form and are ready for
use while others may require a small amount of further processing such as
machining before reaching their final form. With the help of this investment casting process, we are
able to meet the bulk orders swiftly. We are able to develop our range in the tolerance specification of +/-0.15 mm per
