Dear Sandeep & family
I meant to write as soon as we landed, but jet lag, computer crashes & adjusting to life back here has got in the way. I no longer wake up in the night and wonder which country I am in. At first I wanted to get on the next plane back to Delhi. It was cold & miserable. The traffic is civilized & people stick to the rules of the road, I can drive my car without fearing for my life. I miss the food - all that wonderful tropical fruit.
We can get it all here but it is extremely expensive (1 pineapple costs 250 rupees approx) and it doesn't taste the same. I am very much more aware of how expensive it is to live here. I hope we are going to come back to Delhi at some point. His days are rather boring at the moment as we haven't put in place any arrangements, but I think he is happy for now doing very little, as his time at Apollo was hard work.

Firstly apologies for the delayed email to you, things have been quite hectic since we came back from India. Everyone is now back at work and I have been very busy finalizing arrangements for the wedding! Hope you are all well?
We all had an absolutely fantastic time in India, a holiday we will never forget. It was strange arriving back in the UK to cold weather, sensible driving and very expensive prices! I don't ever want to shop in England again! We wish we had more time to do more shopping in Karol Bagh.
We have been speaking to all our friends and family about our fabulous trip and many people were keen for your contact details! I have passed on your name and number to them. We will definitely keep in touch and you will be the first people we think of when we plan our next trip to India!!
