Typically used in the manufacture of access control and time attendance systems, the FDA02 is easily integrated into most kinds of door lock units, time clocks, and related hardware. The processing functions needed for fingerprint recognition -- Fingerprint Capture, Minutiae Extraction, and Template Matching (both one-to-one and one-to-many) -- are all carried out in the on-board CPU, making the FDA02 ideal for stand-alone applications.
