Silicone Rubber Self Fusing Tape It is a high performance, extruded wrapping tape. No adhesive is required. SSF Tape is self-adhering, self-fusing and permanent.It fuses in minutes and cures in 24 hours at room temperature.Faster curing and a harder finish is accomplished by applying heat after wrapping.Temperature range is -60°C to 250°C for continuous use; -65C to +260C for intermittent use. Break down voltages 33.6KV.
Silicone Self-Fusing Tape is tough, permanently resilient, insulating and void-free. SSF is strong, elastic and conforming.It is ideal for automatic wrapping.It protects from effects of vibration and shock.It will not crack or separate with expansion or contraction stress.This product is amazingly useful.
Applications:
Automatic wrapping,electrical insulation, moisture protection, high or low temperature applications. SSF is thermally conductive which allows generated heat to dissipate rapidly.Used in Military, aerospace, industrial motor and marine applications including utility cable terminations and splices, bus bar insulation, motor coil terminal connections, and fuel line and hose repair.

Self Amalgamating Insulating Tape Self amalgamating insulating tape is specially prepared for electrical & electronic industries, Panel makers, Projects, Electrical contactors, electrical utilities etc. Excellent electrical properties such as superior volume resistivity, higher breakdown voltage. Excellent resistance to polluted atmosphere, saline water and weather. Excellent self amalgamating properties & exceptional ozone resistance. Beneficial when compared with PVC heat shrinkable sleeves or PVC tape. It will not crack or separate with expansion or contraction stress. This product is amazingly useful. How To Use Self Fusing Tapes:
Clean & degrease the surface thoroughly by using any solvent residueless cleaner. The tape contains plastic liner Stretch 25-30% & wrap with moderate tension with half overlap. Apply last lap with zero stretch. Press down to avoid end lifting before fusion takes place. The tape will start amalgamating within 1-2 hours and full amalgamating within 24 hours. |
