RANDOM PACKING & TOWER INTERNALS.Random packing have certain advantages like cost effectivenes, avaibility in various M.O.Cs and thickness, veriey of shapes, can be used for multi purpose units and offers lower preseure drop and heance ideal for vacuum distillation. The use of tower internals such as Liquid Distrubutors and Re-distrubutors, properly designed packing support, Bed limiters and Mist Eliminators are recmomended to increase the effciency of the column.
