Procedures followed for processing of edible oils are:
Degumming: In this process, the phenomenon, hydratable phospholipids is used, which forms the liquid crystal with water. Oil is mixed with hot water, caustic lye, phosphoric acid in neutralize and is given proper retention time in a retention tank so as to convert all non-hydrated gums to lyso form, which forms more stable hydratable gums that can be separated out from the oil by centrifugation. In case of rice bran oil, the process is tried and tested. The palm & sunflower different route of neutralization, degumming and washing is used as per the feed oil
Bleaching: We have supplied over 50 bleaching plants in countries like India, Nepal and USA of different sizes for diverse applications.
