umiya engineering works traces its origin in 1963. in the undeveloped wood working industry of those years the company started as a wood working work-shop called 'shree patel saw mill'. with an attitude to show superlative excellence in everything it did, the company tried to save manpower & time and thus improve the profitability by rectifications in traditional machineries.

in 1975 through extensive r&d the company has introduced two user-friendly machines, and they got parent for these machineries.
