Ltd. in Bangalore successfully assists in a Trademark appeal before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) Unicita Consulting was closely involved in filing an appeal for the mark "Red Box Diversity System" on 10 May 2010 before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) of the USPTO. The examiner's decision previously refusing the registration of this mark was successfully reversed by order dated August 19, 2010. Unicita Consulting assisted with the filing of Red Box Diversity System (Serial No.77722602) with the USPTO on 27 April 2009. Decision on allowing foreign law firms won't be taken without consulting Bar Council - August 25, 2010 In a writ petition, A. K. Balaji sought appropriate action from the Centre and the Bar Council of India (BCI) against nearly 30 foreign law firms which were illegally practising in the country. He also prayed for a direction to prohibit foreign law firms or foreign lawyers from having any legal practice in the country. The question whether or not to allow foreign law firms inside the country is now engaging the attention of the Union Government. The job losses result from Walgreen Co.’s agreement with process-outsourcing firm Genpact, based in India, to take over certain accounting work. Genpact has agreed to acquire Walgreen’s accounting office in Danville, Ill., where 500 former Walgreen employees have become employees of Genpact. The outsourcing is part of Walgreen’s “Rewiring for Growth” initiative, aimed at cutting $1 billion in expenses by fiscal 2011.
