Established in the year 2004, Uniheal Foods has been successfully recognized as a pioneering company for high quality health food products starting with the wonder fruit - Amla, also known as the Indian gooseberry. Uniheal is a brand known for exclusive tasting Amla Candies & pure Amla Juice.
Ninad Deshmukh, the young entrepreneur who believes that this Indian gooseberry, with its healing powers is destined to be a universal winner. Little wonder that he sees the future. After all, a B.Tech. (Chem. Engg.) from LIT Nagpur & M.B.A. from Sydenham, Mumbai, he has the right mix of knowledge & vision to propagate what the Indian vedic sciences have to offer to the world. His varied experience lends the credibility. His stint with M/s. Haribhakti & Co., Mumbai, as Management & IT Consultant, as Business Analyst in Emecklai.com gave him the impetus to entrepreneurship.
His initial venture - NISARGADATTA FOODS, specialized in Marketing of Amla Products. He was a Managing Partner there and developed & established “NISARG” brand in the market in a very short time. His contribution was well recognized by Khadi & Village Industries Commission of India (KVIC). The manufacturing unit was awarded National award for “Best Entrepreneur from Maharashtra” in KVIC's National Convention at New Delhi in 2003. Mr. Deshmukh also participated in “Cairo International Fair” representing one of the units selected to represent KVIC.
Soon he set up an improved manufacturing facility under KVIC's REGP scheme, near Pali in Raigad District of Maharashtra to process and promote Amla Products. Since then, market testing with new varieties, additions to product range & a complete revamp of Uniheal packaging has taken the products to a different league. Every other day, there are foreign enquiries pouring in, while the domestic market demand too is increasing.
Rapid expansion is on the anvil with a number of investors showing active interest.

Future Initiatives The Company is focused on developing products based on universally accepted concept of “Healing through Food”. The company will continue developing and marketing products that having “Health Value” (Health Foods / Functional Foods / Neutraceuticals). In future we will add various products such as fruit candies, Fruit bars, and Squash, etc. made from exotic fruits like Karvand, Kokam, Mango, and many more fruits and also develop Nutritional foods from various Indian Herbs. We will continue to pursue philosophy of products “without Artificial Colors & Flavors” |
