About UsOver the years, what has sparked new life into the concept of hand-made paper is the fast-growing personal stationery market. The colorful spectrum here includes writing paper, envelopes, blanks for personal invitations, desktop and home decor accessories. Indian handmade paper is eco-friendly and is made from cotton waste dumps from garment industries. The process does not use toxic chemicals or preservatives. What however adds the ethnic touch to the paper is the embellishment with natural materials such as straw, grass, hemp, petals and silk waste.

We are a small team of enviro-friendly enthusiasts with a mission to give back to the Earth, what it gave us, over so many generations. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle is our mantra!
At Urvee we not only impart free training to under-privileged women in learning to create our products but also pay them for their labour! One of our most successful ventures being that of making paper bags of various sizes and shapes, screen printing on them and adding value. We encourage the use of handmade paper carry bags and recycled cloth bags in place of plastic covers.
Urvee has also been closely associated with Khushboo Welfare Society, a School for spastic children located in Gurgaon, for over five years now.
