ASSAY PRINCIPLES
AGRI STICK is qualitative colorimetric detection
of organophosphate and carbamate pesticides,
based on their chemicals inhibiting
cholinesterase enzyme. In absence of
appropriate pesticide in the test samples, the
enzyme reacts with chromogen to form blue
color products. If enough pesticide is present in
the test samples, it will inactive enzyme, leading
to decrease in color development.
