Dicumyl Peroxide is a strong free radical source and is used as a polymerizing initiator, catalyst and vulcanizing agent. It is a cross-linking agent in EVA and polyolefin and flame retardant for alkyl aromatic resins. When Dicumyl Peroxide is combined with organic halogens then medium temperature organic peroxide with curing temperature will result at and above 150 degree Celsius.
