The machine is designed for chip machining of materials, with a wide range of possible technological uses in milling, drilling, roughening, reaming and thread cutting operations including tool thread cutting.

The machine is of a modular design that allows considerable variability of use. The design with portal sliding on independent beds allows satisfying even requirements for division of working areas for simultaneous workpiece machining and clamping in a simple way.

Rigid clamping board fixed to the machine base is a basic feature of the machine. Two longitudinal beds on which the portal consisting of two columns mutually connected with fixed crossrail travels are mounted to the common base along both sides of the board. Cross slide travels on the crossrail guide. The headstock adapted to automatic exchange of spindle heads is shifted in the slide vertical guide.

Machine versatile character, in particular with respect to selection of spindle heads, allows machine maximum matching to technological requirements. It is possible to select an optimum type of spindle head for a given operation and to utilize possibilities of utmost cutting conditions and machine working area in an optimum manner.

High power and torque on spindle of the spindle heads with spindle mechanical drive will be useful at roughing and finishing operations; spindle head fitted with electric spindle also allows performing final finishing operations on the machine with high productivity.

Headstock of the machine is equipped with spindle heads for 5 and more axis machining or with travelling quill, which enables machining of complex-shaped work-pieces. The machine is of modular concept, which enables to set-up the working area in accordance with requirements of the user as well as the complexity of thechnological operations. The machine is equipped with digital controlled drives with control systems SIEMENS or HEIDENHAIN.
